The Most Surprising Rotten Tomatoes Scores Of 2018 bram: That was my problem with Mortal engines: it's actually not about giant mobile cities that each other to survive. There's the opening of the movie where London chases a tiny German village and absorbs it. That seemed liked a good warm up, in anticipation of major mobile city clashes. But unfortunately that's where the 'mobile city wars' story also ends. You get a completely different story which makes you wonder at the end: What was even the point of making a movie about cities on wheels? This concept had great potential, how did they manage to screw it up so badly?

Rotten tomatoes is usually my go-to for movie reviews. But I tend to disagree with some of their ratings. What we do in the shadows got a 97% and I had to check it out after that score. I don't think anyone in their right mind would score that movie so high. For me it was barely watchable. with a couple of laughs here and there. But movies scored in the 90 plus percentile should be classics

Look aquaman wasnt a masterpiece, but it was crazy fun and something completely new in terms of an underwater movie. It was better than prob 1/3-1/2 of the MCU movies, at least critically, and was an insane amount of fun. Rotten tomatoes scored it low due to some bad dialogue. I just think its usually more wise to trust the fan score. Rotten tomatoes is way too biased imo.

Did you even watch Mamma Mia Here We Go Again? You said that Cher stole every scene she was in. She was in ONE scene! At the tail end of the movie! TWO if you count the finale where everyone including the very dead Meryl Streep comes back and they all sing. No, Cher was NOT the best thing about the movie. The magic of ABBA and the cast was the best thing about the movie!

Im sorry, but a movie about moving cities that eat each other for resources does not sound like a money printing machine. It just reminds me of the movie Big, when the toy company was making the skyscrapers that turned into robots. Tom Hanks character summed that up with one word. Why? I think that applies to Mortal Engines.

Yes, but, but. RT gives a better rating to 2016 Ghostbusters than Interstellar. Most people don't know how their rating system works. When you're aware of that, that website loses all credibility.
97% to Into the spiderverse, seriously.

Bumblebee was the happiest I can remember being after seeing what everyone thought about it. It feels good to have a Transformers movie that isnt a laughing stock and I cant wait to see what the future holds for the robots in disguise

Movies should not rely on rotten tomato or any other critic for there reviews since there all wrong all there opinions have only been right 10% of the time shut them down and all the good movies will get sequals and the crap wont

Mortal Engines was a crappy film and I had no idea it even existed due to the lack of advertising, and I wasnt surprised why the second Mama Mia bombed it was trash and too corny and it deserved to fail

70% of these movies no one cares about. shouldve talked about the success of a quite place or avengers or the surprising reviews for bohemian rhapsody not movies the majority of people don't care about
