Melisandre And Arya's Final Talk Ignites Game of Thrones Theory Mei: I don't believe that Arya will kill Jaime just so she can wear his face. I believe Jaime has already shown that he can be trusted. If anything, he might volunteer to do the deed, but perhaps he will fail in his attempt. When that happens, maybe Tyrion will then find another way to kill Cersei. Either he will do it, or hatch a plan that will involve Arya. Though, I feel at this point, it would be too obvious to have Arya as the evil queen slayer. I mean, why does she get to kill the two biggest bosses in game when there are other main characters also in the party? I have this funny feeling Sansa will be the one to kill Cersei. Maybe by logic and prophecies she's not the ideal one, but I think it would be a good twist. After all, who was the one Cersei held captive and terrorized the most in King's Landing for years? Sansa. Who was the one she manipulated the most that contributed to Ned Stark's death, and even caused Rob to declare war which ultimately led him and Catelyn to their doom? Sansa. Even Lady was put to death because of Cersei. Also, if Sansa didn't have to flee for her life from King's Landing she wouldn't have been betrayed by Littlefinger, married off to Ramsey, and raped. So, really, I think out of everyone, Sansa has the biggest claim to Cersei's death. Who knows, maybe the screenwriters will give the kill to Sansa and then she and Dany will have to fight for the throne where Jon will be caught in the middle. Who knows what Jon will do though, since he belongs to both houses. Of course, this is just my little fantasy.

They have been good at distractions in trailers and dialogue this season, but Martin himself in a recent interview may have given a big hint to what is going to occur about a comment he made about Avengers movie and a character in it that his comment could be foreshadowing; I think Jaime is going to betray the North and Dany. There's been enough dialogue to state as such - the conversation with Tyrion where Tyrion tells him that despite how Cersei is, Jaime still loved her fully. The trial of Jaime before Dany, Sansa and Jon - he would do his actions again for his family. And with Cersei pregnant again? He could have come North with at least soldiers that were loyal to him, instead of arriving alone, if he had fully broken with Cersei. So if they march against King's Landing, I think that is when Jaime will betray the others and side with Cersei. The things we do for love. It would ruin Jaime's character development, but it won't be the first time a character's development was destroyed in a show. With Arya killing the Night King, it shows the prophecies on the show are not set in stone. That humans still have a say over fate and not blindly embracing a prophecy, but making their own fates/destines/prophecies.

So Melisandre's big intricate plan was to wait until Winterfell was under siege by the white walkers so she could light the swords of the Dothraki army (only to have them completely wiped out in less than a minute) so she could then light the trench fires all around Winterfell (which did nothing other than stall the white walker attack by about two minutes) so she could then wait until Winterfell was almost completely overrun with white walkers so that she could then find Arya Stark (who was very lucky to even still be alive by that point) and tell her that SHE is the one who has to go kill the Night King, so she could then just assume that Arya would be able to make all the way to the Night King without being killed despite there being white walkers everywhere. Is that correct?

Not that this aspect of Arya would influence the writers, but militarily, Arya is the clear choice to be sent in to kill Cersei. Aside from her superior special forces training and experience, this assassin can assume the identity of anyone she kills. Pick a name. Gregor Clegane? Have the Hound beat him, and Arya make the kill shot. Euron Greyjoy? Get at him by masking as one of the Golden Company.
Or any of Cersei's attendants. They have to go out shopping sometime into the marketplace.
Cockles and mussels alive alive O!
It could be that simple.

I don't think the writers are going to let Arya kill Cersei or even the Mountain (both on her list) now. I think the writers don't want to make this all about Arya. I think the Mountain will be fittingly be killed by The Hound and Jaime will kill Cersei. Jon will probably kill Euron. This is not only Hollywood textbook, but it may even be what GRR Martin would do (and he doesn't do Hollywood formula. So, unfortunately, Arya will probably be in the background now, maybe killing tons of soldiers of the Golden Company.

Meliandre quoted Arya's best mentors, both the faceless man and Syrio Forrel in her talk with Arya. And here we are said by the faceless man in his first meeting with Arya after saving him. What do we say to death was what Syrio Forrel told her several times, and right before he told her to run when Trent and his men were going to kill her. She also greeted the unsullied with Vallar marghulis. Hope we see the faceless man again before this show ends.

Game of Arya. God damn this show is bad these days. Arya should have been long dead when the Waif stabbed her, and if not from that, from infections from the shitty water she dropped into. That shitty character already destroyed the story in the last Episode, now let her further ruin the lame ending we are getting? No thanks, but it's the Dumb & Dumber writers we are talking about so it's completely possible.

High Valerian is gender-neutral, Arya, Euron Greyjoy, and the Hound are all also valonqar. However GRRM has said many times that prophecies in his books, as in the real world, aren't literal or accurate. Also, the valonqar portion of Maggy's prophecy was omitted by the show creators for a reason, just as they omitted lots of the details of the Azor Ahai prophecy; likely to give themselves plot flexibility.

Melisandres appearance was perfect. She did everything she was meant to do. Arya killing the Night King was FOOKIN awesome. I think Arya will kill Cersei. Jaime must live to fight in the war. If he dies by chance, Arya can wear his face to kill Cersei. That would be incredible. Unless Jaime is actually the one who kills Cersei. Either way the Valonquar prophecy is fulfilled.

I have no problem with Arya killing the NK, but how it happened was too easy. The ultimate evil, described as nothing else than death, dies to a girl with a trampoline. They have to have some incredible last episodes if they are gonna save this terrible season. Thank god we still got the books, cause you know damn well it won't be that easy in the real story.
