Why Sean Connery Practically Vanished From Hollywood For Good Anthony: My late father was a very good and keen golfer. One mid-week afternoon in the 1960s, he had a few hours spare and was knocking some balls off the practice tee at his local Beaconsfield Golf Course, in Buckinghamshire. The club secretary approached him: Dr Deacon, we have a guest with us this afternoon. Would you care to give him a game? The guest was Sean Connery and we used to have in the family (sadly, since lost) the old-fashioned green one pound note, autographed by Mr Connery, that Dad won from him on that occasion. I can't recall exactly when this happened, but I'm guessing that Sean Connery was filming one of the early Bond films at nearby Pinewood Studios.

People say that the League of extraordinary gentlemen is bad, but those person never saw far from earth, Connery look like he try his best, but the scrip is weird, the action is meh and the movie is super low paste for a Si-Fi murder mystery! But even if that movie is not my favorite, Sean Connery was still great! And also he was the King Arthur in Excalibur, the greatest thief of all time in entrapment, a very respectful Police Captain in Rising Sun, a master spy for Britain in the rock, bref, he had a really huge variety of fantastical roles, and his career was truly legendary!
P. S. and he was in some weird H. P. Lovercraft movie adaptation too!

I dont know if I'm the only one but I didnt think the league of extraordinary gentlemen wasnt that bad of a movie and I actually liked it. yeah I get it. but see that was definitely one thing about Sean Connery he could save almost any movie he's involved with. it definitely wouldve been nice for him to end on a better note. He had a great career and I wish him all the happiness in the word. He's definitely a stand up guy.

Sean Connery is a true Gentleman; I was working on The Next Man, as in pa; we had a brunch of sorts at some hotel in Marrakech; he was so funny; we drank Oulmes by the way, until the limo came for the plane; his wife is Moroccan (Judaic Faith, for all blotters); Mr. Connery helped me get and another gig as a PA, in Morocco, female; I am grateful; ;khadija then Stevenson

I like League of Extraordinary Gentleman! Screw the critics. Its been decades since he last took a significant role in a movie. DECADES is anything over 20 years. and it hasnt been 20 years since his last movie. This video was posted in 2019 and his last major film was 2003. thats roughly 16 years and 16 years is NOT decades! Just sayin.

We had a 2nd home in the Bahamas 5 years ago - walking distance to Sean's house! No addresses, the homes have Names! His is Golf based (and funny) his Boat the same name which we also walked by several times. We prayed over Sean & his wife & family & home every time we walked by or golf carted by. Our Favorite BOND, James Bond!

He said it, you just decided to ignore it. Quote '' I retired for all the Looper of this world, for, mentally challenged people shouldn't do any kind of reporting or educational jobs, therefore i left as i am still sane and unscathed, much from those equally gloriously bad at reporting '' Sir Sean Connery

How old is this? His wife and a caretaker has to hold him from falling when walking the streets. Sure we all go through this sooner or later, but it doesn't make it less sad. We love you Mr. Connery for all the decades of making us guys be James Bond.

I loved the movie League of Extraordinary Gentlemen! It wasnt his best of course, but I thought the idea was great. It opened my eyes to older fictional characters. Not as epic as avengers, but I just love the idea of it.

Maybe he retired because he's 150 years old and has physical disabilitys if you don't get that your a moron. he told Spielberg he would do the Indiana Jones film or another one but had to be a character in a wheel chair.
