As for modeling, his real statement was that he didn't understand why actors represented fashion brands. Then at some point, it was explained to him why and he got it. He was approached by many fashion houses, but he chose Dior for a couple of reasons. One was that they gave him complete creative control. He wrote the script for his first Dior film/video, chose the director, chose the music (and Led Zepplin doesn't give their permissions to just anyone, and is even allowed to choose what he wears in the advertising. Since he began with Dior by representing their fragrances, he wasn't required to wear their clothing on the red carpet or attend their fashion shows.
But he did so well for their fragrance line, after 3 years, they asked him to rep their clothing line as well. After that he began wearing Dior to his premieres and attending their fashion shows in Paris. His initial contract back in 2012 paid him 4 million a year, and although there are no numbers for his newer clothing contract, we can assume he's getting more than that. This money gave him the freedom to explore making indies with the filmmakers of his choosing (and he already had all that Twilight money anyway. But he's a smart businessman as well as brilliant actor. He's going to deliver the best Batman ever and all the doubter are going to pretend they knew all along.

I cant wait for the movie to come out and then everyone will have no choice but to have to admit defeat. Rob will pulverize that role. He will make history playing the recluse Bruce Wayne. Not to mention a younger version of him. .he will prevail. Now that be knows how basically EVERYONE in the world will be scrutinizing his every move on the film, he'll work twice as hard to prove them all wrong!
Believe it ot not it reminds me of when Val Kilmer played him. He was my fave version of the super hero. I personally think Rob is gonna be better than what anyone expects! I'm not saying that bc I'm a fan, you gotta admit when there is talent. The one who didn't have talent in the Twilight Saga was Stewart. Not him.

1. Hes a very talented actor. Remember Me, Water for Elephants, The Rover, Good Time, High Life, etc. proves it.
2. He has both the right height and chin for the role. Pattinson will definitely look the part when he wears the Batsuit.
3. He kinda looks like a young Ben Affleck. The Batman will be a prequel to Batman v Superman, so it fits.
4. Hes going to be directed by one of the best filmmakers today. Matt Reeves will direct a great Batman movie.

I love Robpatz, Twilight was like Titanic. Everyone loved it, everyone hated it, then it made a comeback. I worked in the book industry during the boom for that and he did a good job with what he had, and a lot of people got into reading and tried other books as a result. He's an awesome musician and composed a bunch of music for twilight. I love all his other films. Can't wait to see him as Batman I suspect he'll blow everyone away

Am I the only one who remembers how they said the EXACT SAME things about both Michael Keaton and Ben Aflak being cast as Batman, and they all admitted they turned out to be damn good Batmans? (Ben did a good job, it was the writers and producers to blame for the issues with Batman V Superman)
I can't see him being a good Batman either, but history has proven us wrong twice, I'll give him a chance.

I am 24 years old and I ve been in love with Robert Pattinson since I was 13 years old. I believe nothing can make me not be in love with him. Hes just such a heartthrob. I liked him on Twilight but not in the sequels and I liked him on Little Ashes. He is an excellent actor I can tell.

ive never seen twilight movies but I became a fan of his after seeing him in The Rover and then in Lost City of Z. Then he did Good Times and High Life and now he's doing this rad movie with willem defoe called The Lighthouse. NONE of these things were mentioned in this video.

Fortunately I did not watch the twilight movies. The first film I got to see him in action was The Rover and became a fan of his acting ever since. I actually kind of think that playing Batman is quite random for his capabilities as an actor but I am excited to see the outcome.

Uhm, what about this was 'untold', exactly? All in this video is pretty well known. Also, the ip into Kristen Stewart's apology seems weird. It'ss not about Pattinson and neither was it 'untold'. What BS that a private thing is still a defining thing 8 years later.

I like this guy. He deserves more respect and credit than people give him just because Kristen cheated on him Doesn't Mean everyone has to brand him as not loveable anymore. I just love how down to earth he is and humble. He never let fame get to his head.
