I find the rating/age restriction thing in America quite interesting.
This film is rated R in America, while here in Australia it's only rated MA15+.
For comparison, the film Wolf Creek is rated R18+ here in Aus. I wonder what it's rating would be in the US.

this is the Joker for me. I don't like the comicbook movies because the suspension of disbelief hurdle to take is too big for me and it hurts my immersion. This Joker is believable. It doesn't hurt that the movie is very well made too.

they made this movie R rated because in one or two years marvel planned to do their first R rated movie with Black Widow

Looper is more delusional than 90% of residents in Florida. This movie has nothing to do with the joker. 100 other movies but not DC.

tbh this is best movie ive seen all year. I dont wanna get my hopes up too much but if they keep releasing DC movies in this manner, breaking the mold, man. that would be amazing.

In conclusion, be grateful for Jared Leto joker. If it didn't exist, Arthur Fleck Joker didn't exist. Though, we still should forget about Jared's joker.
