Huh. another youtuber with no clue what they are on about. Joker does not have a definitive origin just like Marvels Bullseye. Most commonly Alan Moores Killing Joke is sourced as the more reputable origin story but technically all are canon. When Batman momentarily became the God of knowledge he was shown that the Joker is in fact 3 different people hence why Bats was never able to work out who Joker was before although after rebirth this was likely retconned.
In the video the guy referenced the references to the comics but never actually gave an example. Also the director already confirmed Sophies fate was meant to be left ambiguous.

Arthur isnt actually the actual joker. The real joker is Jack Napier. Arthur was the inspiration for Jack to become the one who fights Batman. And also the joker isnt that much older than Bruce if anyone watched Gotham would know. My theory is with that everything happened in his head and hes just stuck in the hospital. Or that since this is based on the past Jack is somewhere in the mix watching.

This is AND isnt a Joker origin story. If we assume as the film suggests, that it is a delusion hes having within a mental institution, then the entire narrative was built by him to defend and justify his actions, which are only displayed in the end of the movie (maybe. The joker still does not have a linear, concrete origin story, but it is his state of mind that is his true origin.

I just don't understand this movie. everything is a mystery. maybe some of the things shown in the movie didn't happen and were Arthur's imagination. or maybe nothing happened and he imagined everything while he was locked up in the Arkham hospital. this is why the movie is great. I hope there will be a part 2 in which they will explain everything.

Am i really so old that looper doesnt remember one of the most Iconic lines from any Batman movie ever? Ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight? This isnt the first vision of Batman created through the scene of Waynes parents killed while leaving theater. This I thought was the original foundation for Bruces vengeance all along.

I think the movie imo portrays the city of Detroit because before The Joker rose into power into Gotham, Gotham was a very attractive city but, when the riots happened, Gotham became less of an attractive city which is likely a bit similar to the City of Detroit because Detroit went downhill after some riots in the 1960's.

The best artists do have a tendency to seem a bit insane. Joaquin embraces the character and transforms himself down to the soul. Im so glad to be alive to witness the kinds of artistry we have today. It only saddens me that I cant live long enough to watch the evolution of current child actors.

Actually he went nuts after his medication was cut soon as he stopped taking his pills is what he kills in his apartment he even mentions that he's feeling better before he does it.
. At the end of the movie he's back on his pills because he's in the mental institution and he's happy
