Star Wars Was Going To Be Filmed In Space But It Never Happened Yngvar: Star Wars is fantasy. Its space scenes have nothing to do with real space. This is not a complaint, just a statement of fact. Real space scenes would look really out of place, especially with how slowly everything happens compared to the breakneck speed of everything in Star Wars. I don't understand what he was trying to accomplish.
However, the part about there not being film cameras in historical periods reminds me of Kubrick's Barry Lyndon. In his quest for realism, he insisted that indoor scenes should only be lit by candlelight. For his camera lenses, he used a type also used by NASA.

I'm 0 like absolutely sure 0 flicks will have least some scenes shot in space. I think if the right director decided to shoot Clark's 2061, /said director wanted a few scenes shot in REAL space, they might do it. because Clark's space odyssey series is considered truly respectable, /written by the guy who 1st proposed communication satellites in a scientific journal, /the 2001 MOVIE is a sci-fi flick that REAL scientists could like. so in gratitude to Kubrik/Clark. I think it could actually happen.

I think you misunderstood what he said.
I'm pretty sure that he meant just a shot of the star sky, so that it would require actors in space, but that there would be footage from space.

Wait so they went past our moon 2 film? Because NASA and their new updates said the moon is in our atmosphere.
Smh yall just lied and busted nasa lie. lmao

Will happen soon seeing there are finally some visionaries beeing able to do there bid.

No. No. No. If we start filming shit in space, we are opening the door to disastrous privatization. KEEP SPACE OFF LIMITS TO MARKETING.
