Wait so youre saying watching the movies makes it easy to forget the story of Freddy? Watching the movies literally tells you his story. I mean, you dont find out about his foster father until freddys dead the final nightmare. That movie told more of his back story than any other film did.

My Aunt got me into the Nightmare on Elm Street series. She got the the box set on vhs for my 16th birthday, so my cousins and me binged watched them that night. She passed away my Junior year in High School; anytime I watch them now, I think of her.

I'd just like to point out the 2010 remake was a disgrace. Freddy is a sadistic serial killer, not a pedo! Being a pedo is just sick and I was disgusting they went that route.

I enjoyed the darker Freddy from the remake. Fred Krueger was a child murderer and a pedophile. There's nothing anti-hero about him. He's supposed to be a disgusting bastard.
