Good news for me, a Tolkein fan. I guess the main focus would be fall of Numenor+war of the last alliance. And, surely they would fit forging of the rings and war of the elves, but it is set 1500 years earlier. Don't know how they will do that. The rest of the things can be shown in flashbacks or other ways. I am really interested to see the dwarves-elves partnership in old moria and eregion.

I don't want Amazon to make this show at all. I just know they're going to make it political and woke, and basically spit in the face of Tolkien to appeal to fans of GRRM, Neil Gaiman, Stephen king and the rest of that shower.

What we want to see is LOTR. Not some Game of Thrones wannabe. Stick to Tolkein's work please Amazon. Don't ruin the legacy of LOTR - Disney's already done that with Starwars.

Hey Looper. You forget, or didnt know that The One ring was the part of a series of rings. Some for Elevs, Man and dwarf purely for controlling purposes.
