The real reason Doc Brown taped Marty's letter back together is not only just because he was curious. Marty actually gives Doc the idea when Marty returns from the dance where his parents met in the original timeline. It's revealed in a little bit of dialogue between Marty and Doc Brown. Marty is very excited because his plan to get his parents back together succeeds beyond his wildest dreams. He tells Doc Brown about how his dad stood up to Biff and punched him out by saying how awesome it was to see his dad finally stand up to Biff.
The dialogue goes like this:
Marty McFly: He laid out Biff in one punch. I didn't know he had it in him. He's never stood up to Biff in his life!
Doc Brown: [looks at the picture, realizing the implications of Marty's statement] Ever?
Watch that scene carefully and you realize that Marty has indeed changed the past. You can see Doc Brown realizing what Marty has done. Marty has created a new timeline for his parents, and as soon as Doc Brown realizes the implications of that (Marty has indeed changed the past) he decides to tape the pieces of Marty's letter back together and once he reads it, he realizes he can change the future as well.
He wears a bulletproof vest to the test of the time machine.
And that was because he realizes that the timeline can be changed.

I like the Easter egg but would the ravine be renamed after Eastwood? If his fake ID was known then his last known act was to hijack the train as all the passengers were left alone only a hijacker could have died in the apparent kamikaze train flight. The train jackers were in disguise though and no bodies were found. Maybe after the train crash the folk of hill valley noticed Clint had gone missing but without finding a body or having reason to suspect Mr Eastwood of the hijacking then there is no reason to believe anyone died in the ravine. The man was locally known as a bit of a drifter having only been in town a week or so anyway. His only real notable actions were some a friendship with a blacksmith, strange shoes probably made by a chinaman and a short lived feud with Maddog that ended with Maddog being locked up. This is the only real reason to name something after Eastwood when you think about it logically or in my case you have too much time on lockdown.

Why did Doc send Marty straight into the path of a oncoming train in 1985 even though Doc wound know train times in Hill Valley in 1985 so did Doc try to kill Marty as soon as he returned to 1985 as he sent him straight into a oncoming train
Also 1985 Train involved in a Maybe Fatal Accident so why did the train never stop after driver clearly would have seen bits of a car pass the trains cab
Also when Doc returned to the smashed to Bits Deloren across train track Doc doesn't even acknowledge it

Marty hits a Rolls Royce in the process, where he breaks his hand, and gives up on his dreams of becoming a Rock star, therefore commencing the timeline we see. What are you talking about, We don't see it?

i think you messed up a touch. from what you said and the clips its as if doc decided to stay BECAUSE clara left him. that makes no sense. it was that he stayed because he loved her but marty convinced him to go back so he told clara goodbye and she didnt believe he was a time traveler so she broke up with him so doc now had no reason to stay anyways but then clara decided to stay with him and the end.

You made one little mistake in this video. You said that Doc Brown turned the letter over to the Postal Service and told them where and when to deliver it. He didn't turn it over to Postal Service, he turned it over to Western Union and it was Joe Flaherty from SCTV fame who delivered it. Joe Flaherty was also in Used Cars and Happy Gilmore to name a few.

My biggest question with the movies was always.
. why in the hell did the people in the cars that saw the Delorian on the train tracks and then witnessed the train collide with my the Delorian not check on the driver or call the police?

I only now realised that when marty travels to the old west and the fuel line is punctured on the delorean and they cant get fuel, they still have the second delorean which doc has hidden, they could of used the fuel line and fuel from the original delorean on this delorean and travel without the train.

The funniest part of this is at the very end where the youngest of Docs children motions with his hand and points to the front of his pants. The actual actor had to use the restroom. Im not sure if they didnt notice or did and just left it in there, but Im glad they did. A funny Easter egg
