Raised by Wolves has been renewed for a second season, but we'll still have months to ponder the meaning of the HBO Max series' first season and its finale, The Beginning. This is the ending of Raised By Wolves explained. The finale of Raised By Wolves' first season makes it more clear than ever that our characters have been employed as instruments of some greater will, presumably that of Sol, the god of the Mithraic religion. Throughout the series, multiple characters have had strange visions, including the androids. Some of these visions seem to show the future, some are glimpses at the distant past, and some are apparitions of the dead child Tally, who tumbled into one of the gigantic bottomless pits that appear across the surface of Kepler-22b.

I don't think that sol exists as in earlier episodes kids were afraid that mother might be causing sickness but it was the crops that were radioactive. Similarly, if you think about it everytime someone hears sounds or vision is when it's related to mother's child, there's clearly life on the planet and also a history as father points out. Caleb is probably going insane after all those vision it's clear and Paul too. The human tried to kill mother due to the child because maybe those serpents have somewhat of a hive mind and used mother to get Their species back.

Sol is the devil and the planet is his hell. The devil whispers in The Mathriecs ears to push them to commit sins and evil deeds, while the Athiests are the good people and don't hear him. The huge snake that Mother delivered is the spawn of Sol (Satan. The creatures are tortured souls in hell that been for long time that's why their bodies devolved into hideous creatures. Hence why there isn't food that can be eaten and the plants are toxic and the only thing they can eat is the bodies of the creatures. So this planet is really Hell and Sol is the devil (Satan.

How can you explain what you clearly don t understand? For one the second ship that arrives at the end is clearly atheists, not a second mithraic ark. Not only were the scouts that marcus encountered definitely atheist soldiers, but the gd ship has a huge u mistakable atheist symbol on it s underbelly. Almost impressive how bad you screwed the pooch on that one.

Evolution has no direction, i am no more evolved than a Amoeba, but am adapted to my environment, and being Catholic am so surprised by the lack of scientific knowledge displyed by people professing that Christians are are not Darwinist, Catholics at least.

It was not another mithraic ship. they wore black like the atheists. So it was an atheist ship. That s why he killed them. If they were mithraic they wouldn t have even known him and wouldn t have felt threatened by him

There are so many mystery questions for past & future timeline. There are so many planet, tribes, species. It has different level potential for future.

You said it s a Mithraic ship arriving end of episode 10. That s an atheist ship. Look at the face tats of their landing crew. And no symbolism for Sol

Ridley scott is in nutshell, this show have more question than answer or maybe say zero answer, I'm really frustrated with the giant snake

So if there is a supernatural god in this story world, than how will the atheists respond when that little tidbit becomes known to them?
