No one asked for him to be recast, they tried to make changes before he passed away and got backlash. For example they wanted to get rid of Ryan Coogler with the Russo Bros.

There s a solid case to be made to recast the character. Phase 4/5 is the perfect time to do it as well because there s a readymade explanation just sitting there with all the multiverses variants.

With the upmost respect to Chadwick, I still wished they would have re-casted him. There were so many more stories they could have told of T'Chaka we'll never get now. Kinda seems like a double standard with them re-casting Thunderbolt Ross.

Oh please. it has been 2 years already. Somehow it was OK to re-cast William Hurt - Thunderbolt Ross, who was in more Marvel movies than Chadwick, 6 months after his passing. Just get new actor to play T'Challa and let's move on.

I love Chadwick, no doubt. But they should have recast him immediately. The show must go on. On a professional level. This bleeding heart stuff just opens the door for creative deviation from the true story itself.

There can only be one T'Challa, similar to Steve Rogers/Wolverine/Tony Stark. Some actors/actress cannot be replaced by others, they are like being stuck in that role and ppl will only remember them in that role
