John Jordan wasn't sucked out of the airplane. He was blown out. The air outside of the plane he was filming in was at a lower pressure then the air inside the plane. Thus, the air under higher pressure rushed towards the lower pressure atmosphere. That rushing air blew John out of the airplane. There is no sucking force that pulled him to his death. Please Looper, learn physics. Thank you.

Brandon Lee was shot by a slug that got dislodged from a bullet during an insert shot of the gun being loaded in a previous scene. The Gun barrel was not checked prior to loading it with blanks for the shooting scene. When the blank was fired it sent the round previously stuck in the barrel into Brandon. Always check and clear the barrel.

Oh no. I saw Catch 22 when I was to young. I hated that movie. Still do. My dad was a lifer in the military. He joined the Marines at 16, served in WW2, Korea, and Vietnam. He retired after 30 years at the age of 46. Catch 22 gave me such fears for my dad who I had never considered might not come home after a deployment or a TDY. Until I saw that movie I thought my dad was invincible.

the arial cameraman Johnny Jordan who go sucked out of the plane during the making of Catch 22 in 1969, apparently he wasn't wearing a safety harness that would have prevented him being killed, that is quite tragic because its also an example of huge experience and confidence resulting in unnecessary risk taking.

OMG Oliver Reed. Scares the heck outta me, but in Gladiator he redeemed himself. I loved his character because you see some tenderness under the gruff exterior.
Poor little Mark Lester was terrified of him during the filming of Oliver.

John Landis should have gone to prison. He broke several rules and regulations in the scene that killed Vic Morrow and the two children. He did not follow safety recommendations or safety protocol. He put their lives at risk all to get what he believed was a better shot.

You forgot flight of the Phoenix (original version) in which a member of the film crew riding in the tail section was killed when that assembly collapsed as the aircraft struck the ground. And this was just an insurance shot in case the previous shot was of poor quality.

I seen a lot of footage on the Morrow accident, he dropped one of the kids he was carrying and went to pick him/her up that's when the chopper came down it decapitated Vic and the child he still had a hold of and the other child was crashed by one of the choppers runners.

Brandon Lees death just seems the most tragic. Such a young, promising guy. But by far Vic Marrows death and that of the two young children is the most unnecessary and vicious. Its really unjust that no one spent time in prison for it. Talking to you John Landis.
