From a purely technical standpoint it looks very good.
But the storyline is so weak.
The bad guy from the 1st movie returns from the dead with barely an explanation.
A secret military program. Really?
How come the humans didn't take the baby with them when they left?
Did somebody forget him in the dryer with a pair of mismatched socks?
Every tribe of the fishing people seems to be completely isolated from one another
If the military know this, why torture them asking for info on Skully & his family?
This movie has more tropes than you can shake a stick at:
The rebellious teen,
The bullies,
The hotshot who has now matured & is the responsible father,
The Princess that falls for the outsider and on and on.
Avatar 2 is nothing but eye candy.
And like the first one it outs the technical achievements above telling a good, original story.

All animals experience horrific deaths every day, everywhere, we even drive oven them in our polluting cars everyday, my self included.
I hope we all pay in the afterlife for our international or unintentional crimes/sins against all walks of life.
Its the only way to learn, sadly.

Hey are we so different cuz right now in this world in real life we're doing the same horrific s to animals today so I think that's perfect that James Cameron put that in the movie The show is what we are doing in the world today right now

This reminds me of how the Japanese hunt whales, even today.
Also, so many sharks are killed just for their fins to be eaten as a delicacy/aphrodisiac.
Humans already kill many animals from the ocean, or water.

I think now more than ever with the way our planet is and with climate change and all. I think the message of the movie was quite good was it formulaic and kinda corny at times. yes but overall I enjoyed it

But generally I loved the money the went deeper into the lives away from humans which made kind of intense and seeing it under a new perspective and seeing how humans can be very dark

With how their CGI that they used is now used across the board, lack of imagination and recycled storytelling won't give them the same numbers that they imagine that they would get.
