I was hoping they would have news on the actual soundtrack. Like using the original composer and just guide him to adapt the score to work in a movie setting and him making sure the sound is Sonic. The updated trailer can use Sonic music now that they spent a couple of million appeasing them. That will work better than gritty 90s pop rap.

It would have been cool if they asked the music composer about the music but it doesnt negate the excitement I now have for this movie. Hopefully well see Crush 40 bring in at least one track, preferably for the final battle

It isn't even just the design they improved tho, the second trailer overall is so much better. Decent jokes, fun characters. The original was just pure concentrated cringe
