Grace never had a baby, when Eewa is transferring Grace into Avatar, Grace is weaker. So Eewa created baby in that Avatar body which is Kiri. Kiri is born because of Grace and Eewa. So she is so connected to Eewa. It's like Grace's new life. As she is not born normally, you can expect a few things to be off. Also for her personality, that mature voice suits a lot.

Sigourney was fantastic, and a standout among giants. What a great character, and her powers fit perfectly with the story. I m really surprised she is receiving any negative reviews. She doesn t deserve them. Job well done! You made the movie a better one with your part in it.

I loved it! It gave Kiri an old soul feel and you could really believe that she was the daughter of the biologist. I thought it was a brilliant idea! Anyone else would have tried to embody the biologist to give that mother- daughter feel so this was very natural. Imo

I loved Weaver's performance as Kiri. Some people complain about Kiri's voice and they say it doesn't sound youthful enough. Fair enough, but they're forgetting Kiri is a blue alien, so who's to say what an alien's voice should sound like?

I strongly disagree, the movie had the scene where she gets pulled away for her former self without an explanation of who the father was. The drs conscious was transferred into kiri without the memories of her past self.

Avatar 1 was a better movie than Avatar 2. I didn't get the same buzz watching avatar 2. Good movie, but avatar 1 is my favourite for now. Interesting to see what avatar 3 will bring.

I love Sigourney but the old voice was jarring. I chalked it up to that girl just being different and unique. I like the idea of reincarnation but the old voice. ugh.
