Jamn Ibrico de Bellota Ham, Pernod-Ricard Perrier-Jout Champagne, Yubari King Melon, Almas Beluga Caviar. Every heard of these foods? We guess not and we don't blame you as you probably won't see these items on most menus. These are some of the most expensive foods in the world. Almas Beluga Caviar can cost up to $34, 500 for 2 pounds! If they're so expensive they must be delicious though right? We'll never know because we can't afford any of it!

Guys if you ever come to Indonesia, be sure to stop by at a warteg. A warteg is like a small spaced restaurant which has a lot of food varieties. And for only 1$ there you could get rice, spicy shrimp and clam (from my experience. Wartegs are everywhere cause they're small, as long as the streets are busy. Mostly you'll find them in a rural neighborhood like mine.

I thought Wagyu beef was pretentious up until I actually had it. I swear there's no way you can eat it without noticing how extraordinary the texture is. It's definitely not something to eat every day ($25 a skewer) but more like an experience for you to understand how amazing meat can be.

Great video! I knew about sturgeon caviar, saffron and truffles, but not the other rare/luxurious foods here. Much better than ridiculous items like Strawberries Arnaud or Fortress Stilt Fisherman Indulgence, which only cost a fortune because of the gems.

it's funny people always assume things, artificial breed Fugu costs about 7 us dollars a kilo, cheaper than a lot of everyday fish, and btw artificial breed ones are 99. 9% safe to eat without a professional preparation

For a great evening: cooked beef & potatoe or chicken & potatoe as a main seasoned with truffle, seared tuna with a spoonful of caviar on top as a starter and grilled melon and a glass of champagne to end the evening.

Caviar tastes ok but it aint worth the price. Its basically a really mild fishy taste, like eating a mild fish pate made up of little balls full of gel/liquid.

Who would pay $34, 500 for two pounds of fish eggs? Those eggs come from many species of sturgeon fish, most of which are rare and endangered.

The Honorable Mentions section was lacking---they should've also displayed the average (or the record holding) price for those foods.

Civet may think highly of themselves because even their shit is so expensive. Imagine if you make tons of money just by shitting.
