I bet Jane and Pocahontas would belong to the Victorian England Realm, like Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde and Alice from Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. I also wouldn't be surprise if the three fairies were some of the nuns of Storybrooke or that Hook had an encounter with Jack Sparrow (despite I wouldn't know which character would make Johnny Depp justice. I would also love to see Quasimodo and Esmeralda, perhaps in a realm of a Dark Ages Paris. Who knows, some of these characters may even live in the Land of Untold Stories.

The show is unfortunately over but if ABC did change their minds and decided to continue here are some characters that would be just as good if not better than the characters on this list
Shan Yu ( why not we have Mulan, why not her arch rival)

I want to see the agent from Bolt just to see everyone yell who? and to yell I KNOW WHO THAT IS! Big Bolt fan here, it's one of my favourite movies of all time.
If I had to go more main-stream, I'd pick Anton Ego-the critic from Ratatouille. Maybe there's a restaurant that needs a review-or if we're acknowledging the ending of the movie, a small business that needs investors.

I know this shows over, however there is one fictional character that I think could've been perfect to this series, especially as a great villian: Count Dracula.
And before anyone says that he isn't necessarily a fairy tale character, they've done it before. Such as adding Dr. Frankenstein as well as Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

I know its over now, but Scuttle and other non Anthro characters who can clearly speak English would be interesting. It add a little more of an impact of the Magic returning.
But thats just if they decided to play more off of the Disney versions of stories in their own way.

HOW COULD THEY MISS DRACULA! When they put frankenstein and Jeckyl/Hyde in the show, It was clear the next one was Dracula, and with Ruby being a werewolf there could be a nice story there.

I think they avoided live-action Disney because they wanted to avoid comparisons. I can't imagine anyone do Jack Sparrow better than Johnny Depp, or Mary Poppins better than Julie Andrews.
