I showed my family (My mom, my stepdad and my older brother) The Lego Movie. They did not enjoy it
It's sad because, I thought they would. I, at least, think it's a very funny movie with great moments and easter eggs here and there and that adults may enjoy it as much as most kids does, maybe even more so because of how long Lego has existed and maybe if they played with Lego in their childhood. But my family didn't enjoy it for some reason. And that made me sad

I wouldnt call them kids movies, since theyre family movies! Unless its a movie made for younger kids like Lego Movie, Muppets, Cars. But they are aimed for kids and adults like ET, Beauty and the beast, lion king had commercials during the Oscars that film critics saying animation that parents should also see. The film critics dont usually take kids films seriously, unless its Disney and has adult humor.

I think The Wizard of Oz and Finding Nemo should have made the list, but I'm glad to see my favorite movie (E. T, animated movie (Toy Story, and Non-Disney/Non-Pixar animated movie (The Iron Giant) made this list. I loved these movies since as far back as I can remember, still love them now, and can't wait to share them with my kids someday!

For the most part, I agree with this list, especially The Iron Giant. Also, I personally would have put Lion King at # 1, Toy Story in honorable mentions, and Zootopia maybe at # 2 or 3. But hey, I guess thats just personal preference on my part, as well as this is your list and not mine. Great list nevertheless.

Honestly this list is just dumb. There's always going to be adults that like ''Kid'' movies. The fandoms for most ''Kid'' movies are mostly teenagers and adults, anyways. So every single Barbie movie, Monster High movie, all the Disney movies, all 3 Winx movies, etc should all be on this list.

i'm 21 my favourite childrens movie is anastasia. in fact i showed it to my friend a few weeks ago who had never seen it and i'm here to say it stands the test of time cause she was just as enthralled with it as an adult as i was when i saw it as a child

You could argue that Shrek isn't exactly a children's movie, though. I mean kids enjoy it too, but I think it's more targeted at teens or even adults over younger children.

I love Beauty and the Beast now more than when I was little. It's my favorite Disney movie. I didn't like Toy Story and still don't, just doesn't appeal to me.
