America Ferreras, Matt Damons and Martin Scorseses performances are so not a surprise. Everybody knows or even has heard of them.
Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas (where basically all the main cast, which includes the likes of Catherine Zeta-Jones, Michelle Pfeiffer and Joseph Fiennes, deserves a spot in this list) is beyond underrated af.
Also, Kung-fu Panda 2 wasnt Gary Oldmans first foray into animated voice-acting. In the late 1990s he starred in Warner Bros Quest for Camelot (known globally as The Magic Sword: Quest for Camelot, another underrated af animated movie that should be a classic.

It's a shame that actors who are already filthy rich are taking away work from professional voice actors. How many Mel Blancs or June Forays are out there who will never get a shot because studios are convinced that nobody will see the film unless they have name actors voicing the characters? News flash: Animated movies tend to do pretty well at the box office, because most of the time parents will automatically take their kids. They go because it's family-friendly fare, not because America Ferrera is voicing a character. The greed of these celebrities is very off-putting.

I never seen boss baby on premise but never knew Tobey and Alec were in thy booth together
I only seen ugly Betty in Spanish
Rocky roll first voice and I heard his brother as a moose mob boss
Who?
What?
I knew that on research
I honestly like shark tale
who?
Commisiner Gordon as a mad dude is madness
Who? But good looking

Mike Myers as Shrek deserves an honorable mention
Before Mike Myers was casted as Shrek, Bill Murray, Tom Cruise, John Decaprio and Nick Cage were briefly considered. Although, Nick Cage turned down the role because Cage thought voicing an ogre would not suit his perspective and the final originally choice for Shrek was Chris Farley. Additional, Farley was recording half of Shrek's dialogue before his tragic death in 1997 before he began to finish

I still believe Sinbad is heavily underrated! Its not a masterpiece, but I still like it and Brad Pitts performance as the titular character was really good, even he got on my nerves, at times.
P. S. Seriously? Megamind flopped at the box office, too! Why? That movie is awesome!
Metals can be melted by the heat of ravange.
Its revenge and its best served cold!

How you can make this list and not mention Jason Statham in Gnomeo And Juliet, Jean Claude Van Damme in Kung Fu Panda 2 and Jackie Chan also in the Kung Fu Panda movies, i shall never know. Many on this list easily lend their voices to animation, as it comes natural. But Statham, Van Damme and Chan are quite unusual to lend their voices to animation don't you think.

Did you also know that Kristen Wiig was the voice of Ruffnut Thorston in How to Train Your Dragon? And Kit Harington was the voice of Eret in How to Train Your Dragon 2 and 3? I should that Peter Dinklage was the voice of Phil Betterman in The Croods: A New Age and Kenneth Branagh was the voice of Miguel in The Road to El Dorado.

The fact that Ben Stiller as Alex wasnt on this list is a crime. He embodied the character brilliantly, bringing his own charm and humour to the role, while also nailing the serious moments Alex has.
DARN YOU! DARN YOU ALL TO THE HECK!

Matt Damon as Spirit is my favorite. Not only that hes great in the animated movie but its the story and the music that makes it great. And for the fact for me, its the first DreamWorks movie I saw in theaters
reply

How on earth did Anna Kendrick not make this list! She's one of the most iconic characters on Pitch Perfect, and she happens to be the voice of the sweetest and happiest Queen of the Pop Trolls: Poppy!

I'm kinda offended by this. DreamWorks is not a crappy studio, they make great movies to rival Disney, i actually prefer to watch a DW's movie over Disney. So why couldn't they get great actors?
reply

Megamind ia still a masterpiece! Also I believe Pitt and Damon voiced Will and Bill the Krill in Happy Feet 2 which I was believe is also a Dreamworks film but I may be wrong.
reply

Personally, I wouldve added Wagner Moura as the wolf a. k. a Death from Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. However, Im glad Brad Pitt (and Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas) was on this list.

I don't know if the outro was on purpose because this is about voice acting performances. But it (the outro for this video did, not the VAs from the movies) did surprise me!
reply

Gary Oldman embodied and knocked out the park lord Shen in Kung Fu Panda 2, defo was surprised to hear him but his voice is just silky smooth and deliciously villainous
reply

Hate to interrupt you at 8: 58 but I want to say Martin Scorsese has to be the first director to voice a character. Honestly, what other movie director would do that?
reply

I would have for sure nominated Lawrence Fishburne as Thrax the virus in Osmosis Jones to be on the list. It hits all the criteria and he was TERRIFYING
reply

when it comes to Animation studios Dream works is like number 2 or 3 in America so why is it shocking that big name actors did voice work for them
reply

Why is no one talking about the very end of the video where shes stuttering over her words repeating the things she already mentioned earlier?
reply

It's kind of funny that Tobey Maguire narrated the boss baby movie considering that he alreay narrated thw sam raimi spider-man trilogy!
reply

Patrick Warburton as Ken in Bee Movie and Agamemnon from Mr. Peabody and Sherman. Just realized he was also in a DreamWorks movie.
reply

Brad Pitt, voice of Sinbad
Angelina Jolie, voice of Lola
Once a married couple and has kids but went into splits-vill

reply

Bit of a shame that Tobey Macguire didnt come back to narrate the sequel. James marsden replaced him in family business.
