I just saw the documentary Whitney and learned things I didn't know. Overall it was informative, especially that pivotal time in her life when her mother become ill during a performance and Whitney, then 16, stepped up to that mike. OMG. a star truly was born that night! The last 20 minutes were quite sad. hard to watch. And that flippin cartoon image of Whitney's dignity being taken away. raw stuff. I thought I was going to hyperventilate watching it. Never remember seeing that when it happened. In spite of everything, I will always love Ms. Whitney!

How different would HWIK have been with Janet's soft tone. guess we'll never know. I get the point about Whitney being over exposed and appropriately not doing that duet with Michael. Sediah Garrett's voice is underrated by the way.

If her daughter just had of focused on her mother dead or alive she would have known who she was and been able to. live. as Whitney Houston's legacy. nobody explained it to her correctly. she needed to know who she really was.
