Hold on here, stop with the pity for Tony! If half of these 10 worst performances were with Tony as a partner that says lots about Tony! And none of it good! Either he doesn't take into account his partner's willingness, fitness, and overall character he can't successfully work with someone. It suggests to me that maybe the choreography is too hard, the song is wrong for the dance. However, my bet after witnessing the Suni Lee Olympic Gold medalist snafu this past week I would say it is Tony's attitude. He seems controlling, a Diva, and wants to win at any costs including the health of his partner. Suni Lee was physically ill for a week. She missed rehearsals. They were off stage literally seconds before they were to go on she says I can't do this and throws up in her mouth and tears run down her face. Tony says You can do this! You will regret it if you don't get out there (as in she is an Olympian and will feel regret she didn't live up to her Olympic athelete status. So, she swallows her vomit and goes out and dances the paso doble and as soon as it is over she runs off stage and vomits into a garbage can. She is then taken to the hospital. And Tony doesn't go with her. It is Tony, he is the problem. When there is a common denominator in a problem that part is usually the problem.

As a pro dancer in the comments sections so clearly expressed, it's not easy to come onto the the stage and dance, also while smiling, especially the cha-cha. I thought most of them would be absolutely lackluster or boring but some of them just weren't that bad. But the top 4 spots, especially the first one from Master P, are well-deserved.
A dance takes two. I think the stronger dancers have to put forth the effort to get less professional people dancing at their strongest. They have to build that chemistry, and when they see the weakness, they have to work to break down the apprehension. A lot of pro dancers get into the habit of saying, I'll do all the hard stuff, you can just do. The problem is both of them have to put forth the effort or it will show.

As a Master P's dance was, I kinda like the visual idea of pair dancing to a somber song one is desperately dancing their heart out, while the other is stone faced and doing the bare minimum to make it seem like he is dancing along with her.
It's like in some failing relationships, one person is desperately trying to keep it together while the other has given up. I know it's not that deep but still I like the visual representation.

I've always had an issu with the scoring and think it should be as follows: one/third last week's dance, one/third the audience vote for that performance, and one/third this week's dance. This way, you're not going to be sent home for having one bad night, the professional dancer/judges' opinions carry a little more weight, and it will lessen the impact from viewers turning it into a popularity/political contest.

You can obviously tell that they screwed tony over repeatedly as far as his celebrity partners I mean they were all over the age of 50 yrs old, out of shape & obviously shouldn'tve been on the show during their individual seasons( Ashley really got screwed I mean come on now Master P really )

I really think some of these celebrities show up because they haven't had a movie or TV role or any news coverage in a while. They don't really care about dancing, they just want to remind people they are still in existence. And some people just can't dance no matter the amount of training

If Master P wasn't #1, I'd say this was totally false. Because he wore the inapproriate shoes and he was stomping in them, it looked to me like he was stepping on bugs. The part at the end, I thought he was walking off stage. It sure didn't seem like any dancing.

all of the current so called stars stink. Not one should still be there. The judges have gone weak in the brain. I cannot believe how high they score them. Even the pro's have lost it with the exception of a handful. Time to hang up your shoes, Cheryl.

In all fairness they have limited time to learn the dance, and they give it their best, being Australian and not firmilar with the American version who is this Tony I keep reading about in the comments.

I have rarely watched this show but it seems amazing to me how good the winners look when they aren't professionals. I salute the people who got out there without a lot of natural ability.

Poor Tony who'd he make mad to Master P's credit, he was a last minute replacement for Bow Wow who had an injury and had to drop out. He may not have been great but he was brave
