I'm a very emotional keeper. I can't tell you how many arguments I've been in with whoever wants me to get rid of anything. Most of what I have are art supplies or things I've made. The rest are clothes or medication. I really want to organize but don't know where to start. It's a lot. Too much at times and I cry just thinking about it. I hope I can get better at this. At my lowest last month I almost got rid of everything and myself. I would have no joy left if I had to get rid of my art supplies, but if my sister would be happy then I'd do it. I just wouldn't be around anymore.

those are just too many clothes and eating utensils, just give away and then buy good quality few items that ages well that you use daily and look better with age. for example a great leather jacket can double as room decoration if you put it on a bust or hang it over your desk chair, it always in view and you'll be inclined to wear it often so you won't end up buying another cheap jackets because you kind of forget about what you already have, same with shoes, just buy good leather boots and timeless looking sneakers in colors that looks better and mellower with age.

All of this is basic common sense and it takes some self discipline, which I understand when people get home from work they just want to kick back and relax and say to themselves 'I'll do it later' and later never comes. I admit there are a few areas in my house that could use some tidying up. She's so cute to watch though!

Hi Marie,
Watched your series on Netflix, tidying up with Marie Konda, learnt a lot, started with clothes, removed unwanted clothes - donated it, and organized what was left - lot of space was created. Moreover, lightness was created in physical space and in over all aura. Would be proceeding step by step further.

Could be good tips; but is it practical? For example; what if you have a husband and 3 kids? Washing almost everyday? Will you be folding clothing in her style? Somethings will work for me; but not everything; like putting all your clothing on one paile to sort. To much chaos for me.

Well, Im cleaning tossing things in my house and at the end giving thanks to my Lord God because he has bless me whit my strength to do it! And everything is coming and fixed, in 2017 I couldnt move by a condition in my body but prayed to my Lord and He answered me!

I feel so validated. This method incorporates everything I do to let go of stuff. Unfortunately it ends up annoying everyone in my life. I explain cleaning and making a difference makes a mess. The folding method is awesome though. Definitely trying that.

If it all works, depents on the person. For example; It doesn't work voor me to put everything on a nog pile! I understand the ground princible; like storing scarfs with all the scarfs and keep that what makes you happy (or whar you need!

Seems like most stuff I have is practical like furniture, supplies, computer, utensils, etc. They usually don't rank high on the joy sparking scale. I'd like to throw out my computer cause I hate it but I need it.
