the marshall and lily one hits so hard because you can see both sides of it. in the end you're not mad at either of them, you're just left feeling as heart broken as the two of them. the monica and richard thing messed with me because i knew chandler was coming (i started friends a little later and had to catch up) and every time monica got with a guy i said hurry up and get to chandler! they're so cute, F this guy. not with richard though. those two had me hooked and all i kept wondering is how are these two gonna break up? and it's a sad break up because you know neither of them really wants to break up, but it's necessary because they want different things out of life.

Theres just one I wish was there but like no one knows this show, Suits, Louis and Sheilas breakup, Rachel and Mikes breakup, Jeff and Jessica. But what about himym Ted and Robin I mean Im swarkles all the way and Marshall and Lilys breakup was heartbreaking I thought that ted and robins was rlly sad. And Gilmore Girls Luke and lorelai breakup was sad, and PLL breakups were heartbreaking their are so many rlly sad ones but these ones were also sad.
Edit: oops PLL breakup was honorable mention hehe sorry

Eric and Donnas breakup in That 70s Show is so heartbreaking but at the same time it's a bit ridicolous. It's just a promise ring like why can't she just wear it. I also realized I need to rewatch both TVD and Gossip Girl because I don't even remember those two breakup scenes lol. TVD got so boring though but the first 6 seasons were great.

Eric and Donnas breakup in That 70s Show is so heartbreaking but at the same time it's a bit ridicolous. It's just a promise ring like why can't she just wear it. I had got my kleenex out and based on your excellent recommendation and nice list I was waiting and waiting to ball my eyes out. Well at the end I didnt, through I felt a little sad but no major wailing. Either Watch Mojo you lied to me or I have a heart made of grass. At this point I dont know what to do? It's more heartbreaking about the second breakup between Lucas Scott and Brooke Davis. because Sophia and Chad were on their way to being divorced as Chad cheated on Sophia with Paris Hilton and at that scene. it was when she actually started to pour out so much emotion as if she was really telling chad how she felt.

I cried when Ted finds Marshall sittin in the rain with Lily's engagement ring on his hand. That hurt even more than Ted and Robin or Robin and Barney's breakup.

That scene when Ted comes home and just sees Marshall sitting on the stairs in the rain, holding the engagement ring gets me everytime. They didn't even need any lines, just a shocked looking Ted sitting down and putting a comforting arm around his friend.

Thing is, I didn't even watch most of these shows, or the one for the other break up top ten. The one break up that still tears me up the most, is the one between Scott and Allison at the end of s2 of Teen Wolf. Especially knowing what comes after.

5. Brooke and Lucas, I can so relate to that story. It is so hard to admit that the person u desire wants someone else more than u. However, while it may hurt and take a while to get to that realization, it is so freeing when u do.
