When I first watched this movie, I liked it A BUNCH. But rewatching it, I found out how flawed it really is. The relationships are handled so poorly. Elle gets with Noah based off of his looks and that's it. They look cute together, sure, but she has way more in common with Lee.
Why is Lee even with Rachel? They don't have much in common. Then in movie 2, Noah still chooses to be with Elle even though they aren't that similar of people. Elle had her chance with Marco but decided NOT TO BE WITH HIM. They have SO MUCH CHEMISTRY. But she STILL CHOSE Noah.

I surprised myself with how much I liked this movie. My favorite scenes were the costume switch (which I KNEW was happening but still surprised me with the when and how) and that quiet make-up between Lee and Elle. Neither of them says anything and all they do is look at each other and dance, but you can hear tons from each of them. You wouldn't expect as powerful or evocative a scene as that in a movie like this, but it's there, and it's great.
