I feel like some of the catfishers just wanted to be liked by good looking ppl. I remember thinking when watching this that these shallow men and women were mostly disappointed that the catfish was usually unattractive and overweight. I get they were hurt that they were mislead, but they seemed so devastated by the appearance of the person more than anything.

either fake or host is REALLY dumb for throwing dudes phone off bridge, .especially a conman. most new phones are over 350-500 bucks which would make it a felony theif charge, and destruction of property. so theres that, and then a 'Con artist would sue the shows pruction/MTV and say he had vital info on the phone that he lost. so fake or dumb.
