When I watch the show randomly on my free time, I always search season 4 episodes. I dont why, but season 4 always top of my list. Than season 2. Like the Lily-Marshall fight episodes at the start of the season. And of course Robin Sparkles thing. Season 5 is hysterical too. The biggest distinction for me is season 6. I think it's the worst season of the show. Worse than season 9. Ted and Zoey was the worst relationship in the show. It wasnt good. The story was not realistic. You dont date the girl who try to butcher your dream. And for what? Just because she live in that hotel in her childhood? I dont like the Don-Robin thing either. The only thing that makes me laugh was the beaver episode.

Personally think all the seasons were great. Sure they all had some weak moments, some more than others, but the best sitcom ever (imo. The only thing that was TERRIBLE was that final episode! I could easily let it ruin the whole show for me but I just pretend it didn't happen. I skip through most of that disgrace when I rewatch (I do like to see when Ted and Tracey meet. That is the canon end to me and Barney and Robin staying married (I won't even get into what an insult it was to the characters, fans, and real people in bad relationships to have Robin end up with Ted)

Personally think all the seasons were great. Sure they all had some weak moments, some more than others, but the best sitcom ever (imo. The only thing that was TERRIBLE was that final episode! Season 7 deserves a higher place, it was definitely better than 6th (although my opinion may be unfair since I've always hated Zoey, and on pair, if not slightly better than 5th.
Also, in my opinion, season 2 is the best one as it had some of the most memorable episodes I can recall ( slap bet, Ted Mosby, architect, Swarley, Lucky penny, Stuff, Showdown and also the great finale)

hehhhh? Season 7 is pretty much the best season, how could they put to 7th place? Even if your opinions differ from mine it still should have made the top 3. Season seven was the highlight of the second part of the show and had so many memorable episodes and storylines, for example, lily's pregnancy, Barney and Robin cheating with each other on the significant others, Robin starts working at WWN, Marshall finally becomes an environmental lawyer, robin not being able to have kids, Ted starting to build his skyscraper and I could go on for hours.

I think season 2 is the best for characters best storyline and iconic moments like the slap bet and Robin Sparkles. Season 3 is maybe less memorable but the most consistent in my opinion, the season I prefer. Season 4 has memorable episodes, season 5 is fresh and hilarious. Season 6 is audacious even if it is sometimes less good, season 7 Nice for Robin but not even good as first seasons. Season 8 is the less good but good moments and season 9 bad choice to deal the events, the wedding has a too much long part, the end is done so quickly.

I think season 1 should be higher. I mean the pilot episode will already get you hooked then 2 episodes later we get introduced to Legen wait for it dary. Contraversal opinion. other than the very ending, I actually really loved season 9. Getting to see the mom meet everyone one by one, and then getting to see her journey to Ted, (not to mention the slap bet finale) was nothing short of amazing. I thought the whole season was really well pieced together, and it really showboated the timline hopping HIMYM was known for.

Season 5 was easily the worst season of the show. I'm shocked it was MsMojo's favorite. It featured Barney and Robin's painful first attempt at a relationship, the dull as dishwater Don relationship, essentially gave Marshall and Lily no over-arching story all season, and progressed the story of Ted's love life less than any other season in the series.

One of my favorite shows of all time, I agree that Season 5 is the best season of the show, and season 4 being the second best season, but I would say I like Season 3 more than Season 2, they are all great though, I even love the later seasons more than most fans

Season 2 is my favorite by far! All of them have a special place in my heart tho even if it fell a little flat at the end this show taught me a lot and gave me great laughs during my teen years

Season 2 is the BEST! Atlantic City and Slap Bet are my favourite episodes, the season is hillarious and Marshall and Lily get married but I was really sad when Ted and Robin broke up
