All these times Marshall was the best friend on How I Met Your Mother put us in the mood for some Big Fudge. For this list, well be looking at the moments where the most lovable member of the group was at his best and displayed qualities that make him the best friend anyone can have. Our countdown includes reassuring Ted of his belief in love, using the slap bet to save Barney's wedding, refusing to betray Ted with Sven, and more! Do you wish Marshall was your BFF?

Some that should have at least made it to the honorable mentions if not the list:
1. Asking Robin to move out. (how this could be omitted baffles me)
2. Punched the crazy bartender (while Barney ran away might I add)
3. Dropping off Daphne to her daughter's speech even though she was mean to him throughout the season.
4. Giving Tracy the talking to she needed to stand up for herself.
5. Creating an entire board game based on determining whether Victoria is date-worthy for Ted.
Also, bonus Marshall knows Ted so well that he made him dye his hair blond.

Before even starting the video. I'm going on the record to say that the part where Marshall tells Robin she has to move out of Ted's apartment So he could get over her, should be on here.
Edit: While a good list I'm disappointed they didn't have thay moment. Glad they had at least one moment of Marshall being hard on his friends when they needed it. Because somehow despite being the biggest goofball of the group, he's also the most mature when it matters

All of these times Marshall was the best friend on How I Met Your Mother insures that Marshall is someone you either want him as a best friend or be in a loving relationship with him, especially the honorable mentions as well. Hes definitely a better friend for Ted, unlike Barney. Please make another list regarding this topic about Marshall, Ms. Mojo. Then mash both lists into a top 20 list & include at least 4 or 5 honorable mentions like on this list.

What about the moment when Marshall told Robin to move out of Teds apartment because Ted was heartbroken and still could not tell Robin to move out.
Marshall is always there when his friends need him the most. He sets the bar for friendship too high.

Once again, Mojo, once again you've done a good video and screwed up at the very end. No mention of Marshall knocking out a crazy bartender because he attacked his friend? Nah, not a good friendship moment, is it? You guys are a joke.

I think you missed the best one when Marshal moves out from New York he comes back to the pub at 3 in the morning just because Ted called him in the same episode when Robin broke Ted's heart he asks Robin to move out of the apartment.
reply

Marshall eriksen is a true gentle man. Yes he might be bit selfish at times but dude this guy is a true gem. True character arc never cheated his girlfriend loved Ted Barney and Robin and helped them.
reply

Its funny Marshall is the best person on the show, while his best friend (Ted ) is the worst and his wife is the 2nd worse.
Love the list but #1 is Marshall worse moment. Lol, so lame.

reply

Ummm, how about asking Robin to move out after Ted tells her he loves her because he knows Ted would never do it but it would hurt him too much for her to stay?
reply

Bummer. I was hoping they added the part when Marshall asked Robin to move out off the apartment because Ted loves Robin too much to say it to her in person.
reply

I thought that It was going to be the Time that Marshall tells Barney that He could never talk with his father again because he was dead. but he can.
reply

Sorry. No. The first one should be when Marshall confronted Robin and told her she had to move out of Teds apartment with how bad she hurt him.
reply

very very great fun list I like it a lot great job mis mojo one of my very favorite list ever please do more videos like this one please
reply

Barney's obviously the most iconic character in the show.
But the true fans knows that it's Marshal who's the best character!

The faded route substantively smoke because hacksaw explicitly invent concerning a hissing occupation. impossible, flowery divorced
reply

I'm surprised neither Not Yet and/or him telling Robin the hard truth news that she had to move out didn't even make the list.
reply

I'm sorry, but no. His best friend moment was: no, I'm not ever seeing my dad again, but yours lives down the street
reply

I know I'm late. But how about the time when he told Robin that she has to move out of the apartment because of Ted.
reply

As a Minnesotan myself, I just love Marshall. There are definitely tropes he embodies that I see too much of in myself.
reply

Surely Marshall constantly rooting for Ted and Robin ought to be on here too? (Even if it was part of a bet with Lily)
reply

Marshall is truly the most likeable, good, and best person in the show. He does everything for everyone else
reply

#1 in my opinion is when he told Robin to move out because Ted loves her too much to do that himself.
reply

Marshall is one of the best people on how I met your mother i wish that Jason Segal was nice real life
