I hope people don't see me like Will. I was taken to my supervisor's office with her and a high-ranking chef. They (or mostly the chef) told me that I've been touching my coworkers too much. Not THAT type of touch, of course not! Just casual ones, like on arms or shoulders. I was always very outgoing at work. When I asked her if anyone reported a complaint, she said it didn't matter. She told me that we need the workers to be comfortable in a good work environment, and that I pretty much shouldn't talk about anything other than work and school (I work at a university's catering service. She told me I shouldn't tell my stories because they may be inappropriate to my coworkers. Now yeah, I pretty much don't have a filter, and sometimes I guess I do say inappropriate stuff at work, but not horribly nor intentionally. I like to joke around and have fun with my coworkers (and I know they like to have fun with each other too, but I guess it isn't like that after all (more or less. I really didn't get specific information from the chef about what and who. She understands and likes that I'm outgoing, but she made it sound risky and in need of limits, for good behavior and my coworkers' sake. And again, that I shouldn't touch my coworkers (shoulders or arms) without their consent. But seriously, I'm not a creep! I don't randomly hug people or anything like that. I didn't mean to be so handsy (I say loosely. I'm so embarrassed about the office lecture. I am not like Will at all. I'm really not. Have I really gone that far at work? It shouldn't have gotten to that point. And I expressed this story in Dan Schneider videos, and a few people have either beaten me up or lectured me. That's why I'm starting to wonder if the office thing really does make me a bad person.

Something I dont see discussed as much but really annoys me. After Santana slaps Finn, Will says Santana slapped him for no reason. Like Will you were there when Sue specifically said that the advert forcibly outing Santana was based on a conversation the guys niece heard between Finn and Santana (the why dont you just come out of the closet? convo. Let me repeat AN ADVERT THAT FORCIBLY OUTED HER. That is reason enough. I mean he already knows the schools not exactly a good place for LGBT+ students given Kurts homophobic bullying last year.
The scene in Sues office and what Santana says right before slapping Finn makes Santanas reason for slapping Finn very clear. And it really pisses me off that Will says Santana slapped him for no reason.
Edit: Also about the Marley thing. Some people in the comments are saying its Marleys fault for not asking for a different outfit but like what teacher wants his student to wear a bikini in the first place? Ita just an added horror that its a student he knows is struggling with an eating disorder and body issues. Yes Marley couldve asked for a different costume but an average teacher wouldnt have thought a bikini was an adequate costume in the first place.

One thing that makes Mr Schuester creepy is how invested he is in the kidss lives, I mean he basically knows more about the glee kids than their own parents and sometimes uses them for his own gain. Take the funk episode he lets Rachel go on about Jesse and uses her heartbreak as inspiration as he tries to make Sue feel the same way. There is also the fact that he doesnt do anything to stop the bullying, he just stands there and let the kids get covered in slushy and thrown in dumpsters. Lets not forget when something bad happens to one of the glee kids he basically doesnt want to do anything, take Rachel for example, when she got egged by vocal adrenaline he practically told them to just sing give up the funk and then when Blaine had to get surgery cause he got hit by a rock salt slushy he told them to forget about it and leave it alone, I mean for someone who want glee club to be a family he doesnt let them stand up and protect each other

About the favouring Finn and Rachel thing I dont believe thats entirely Mr Schuesters fault, I mean sure they get featured more than anyone but its not like the rest of glee club ask for solos, take Kurt and Mercedes for example they joined the cheerios because of their lack of solos but they hardly ask to be featured take the Rhodes not taken episode Rachel had left to do the musical which means that the rest of the club has the chance to shine yet they dont take it instead they say that they cant do it without Rachel showing how much they depend on her and just four episodes later Kurt has the chance to sing a solo but he blows the note needed to win and then at sectionals Mercedes was chosen to sing the solo but when their set list was stolen instead of choosing another song to sing she immediately gives Rachel the solo and Rachel was actually reluctant to take it

The thing about the Marley situation is that I get why Sam and the rest of that team were upset. They all challenged themselves to do something uncomfortable and she was the one who didn't. While her reasons were understandable, she was still letting her group down. I still don't see how dealing with that issue was Mr. Schue's business. That was to me the big underlying problem with him, not sseing the line between a supportive/nice and creepy/overreaching teacher.
Personally i think the issues with the other staff (except Emma, weren't that much personally his fault but part of the larger problem with the culture at McKinley, which he was a part of. That just shows how a system with no checks on educators and their behavior can result in them behaving in an inappropriate manner without being exposed to consequences or even negative feedback from peers.

As much I dislike Schuester, Marley deserved to he suspended. It's a competitive activity, not a feel-good activity. Wasn't about her feelings. She was supposed to wear a Lady Gaga outfit, she didn't! She should have clarified her position to her fellow performers, this has nothing to do with Schue. Since she did put some into the Katy Perry costume, could have done the same with any other Gaga outfit which isn't a bikini. Or better yet, not dressed up and worn black overalls. She did have an agenda and she was pushing it, the assignment wasn't just about the outfit. You can't be Katy all the time just because you want to.

Been an English/History teacher in Australian schools for 7 years now. And while I've never seen a teacher cross lines to the extent that Will does on this show - I've seen plenty of personalities like him who go into the teaching profession.
In fairness, some of them have done a lot for the kids. But they are also immature, egocentric, domineering bullies. And it was an absolute nightmare working with many of them.
The saddest part is - the exclusion and personality wars among staff is not that far from reality. And that shit is one of the reasons I'm leaving the job.

In case it is not on here,
1. Not being understanding of mrs P having ocd and yelling she didnt wear a shirt that says ocd is what she feels ashamed about.
2. Not wanting to give up twerking so a trans student can feel safe at school(sue would have given them a key to the teachers bathroom.
3. Not suspending Rachel for sending a student to a crackhouse so they couldnt audition
4. Yelling at the students for leaving the stage even though marely, your student, passed out in front of the school
5. Not stopping the boys from their upsetting comments towards Ryder.

Mr. Shue's character was laid out in the pilot episode and was the worst character off the bat. He was more immature than the teenage students that eventually grew and became stronger characters. Shue stayed a man baby trying to recapture his youth in the most unsettling way. I didn't watch the whole series but it sounds like he didn't redeem himself or at least not for a while. Sue's character was one of my favorites and she imo was welcome to dunk on Shue.

I know youve don a video on when Rachel was the worst but can you do a video on then she was the best character I mean there are times when she isnt thinking of herself like hiding Quinns pregnancy, offering to sing a duet with Kurt, throwing the duet competition, booking the glee club a commercial and joining the football team so they can play the championship or do a video on when Blaine was the worst

Mistreating Kurt by not letting him audition for the wicked solo until Burt threatened to set a flamethrower to the school, never letting him join the girls team, even though he is a boy he always feels mistreated so that's why he always wants to be on the girls team because they treat him better, like why couldn't they do a co-ed team boys and girls

This is worst than Rachel's character. Seriously disturbing.
Although the you're all minorities comment shouldn't be on the list this is the only part where he's right: black girl, Asian girl, disabled guy, lgbt people(Okay mybe not rachel and finn which tells me that if favorse them so much its because he lockey has a problem with the others)

I think one of the worst things Mr Schuester did was letting April Rhodes join the club I mean she was a bad influence on the kids: she got Kurt drunk by giving him chablis, taught Mercedes and Tina how to shoplift and hooked up with Matt, Mike and Puck but Mr Schuester didnt do anything to stop her and even allowed her to perform while intoxicated

Some say that Shue's favouritism towards Rachel was a direct reflection of Ryan Murphy's favouritism toward Lea Michele. In real life, she was super unprofessional and generally not liked by the rest of the cast because of it. But Ryan Murphy apparently didn't reprimand her and still gave her the most screen time and solos.

I'm amazed the moment where he told Emma that she wasn't being a role model for the Glee kids by not putting OCD on her flaws I'm accepting shirt, isn't on this list, like why should she have to tell her students that? And then suggested that eating unwashed fruit would be her taking a step to conquer it? Just. what the hell?

I thought that mr shue was wrong for calling out Kurt when Kurt said that Britney Spears IS pop culture however mr. shue thought that Britney was not a great role model at the time yet he was sent to the Principals office for speaking out for his opinion. Mr. Shue also had let the season 6 glee club do Britney Spears.

Or telling Quinn she's a trainwreck and to just grow up already because of how she chose to cope with a difficult time in her life. She's not even an adult yet and he's acting like it's too late for her to turn it around and her whole life is ruined all because she left Glee Club and dyed her hair.

How about that awful version of Britney Spears' Toxic in front of the whole school? That was so terrible (character-wise and scene-wise; not Matthew Morrison's vocals, which are very good. So glad the Unholy Trinity got to do the song properly in a later episode.

You taught me more about being a man than anyone Ive ever known.
Finn was 17-19 at that time. Will was in his 30s.
How does he not realise that being besties with minors in his 30s isnt acceptable?
