I'd add Tori Amos's Silent All These Years for a good quiet and seething anger song. The anger's not immediately visible but, just listen to the lyrics, it's close to that good old Southern Well, bless your heart cut-downs. Lyrics like I got the Antichrist in the kitchen yelling at me again, Yes, I know what you think of me, you never shut up and Boy, you better pray I bleed real soon, how's that thought for you? (the last one being a reaction to the guy's appreciation of girls who think really deep thoughts) just show that underlying, smoldering anger. And the line, My scream got lost in a paper cup/You think there's a heaven where screams go--more feeling like you're being forced to keep your feelings to yourself and never show how you really feel.

Geez! When the Alanis Morissette angry tune was in its heyday it seems a local alternative rock station must have been getting hourly requests from every b-word ex girlfriend in the peninsula and for some reason honored each and every request by playing it ad nauseam! I knew when I heard it start up again it was time to turn the radio off for the next five or so minutes! Haha!

I love how Potential Breakup Song is one of the honorable mentions 'cause it reminds of my ex. When she was mad at me for some reason, she used to put it as her Myspace profile song (do you guys remember Myspace) and I always thought it was so funny everytime she did that. which made her even angrier.
