Anya Taylor-Joy has been casted as Princess Peach for the upcoming animated Mario movie, and after hearing her voice, I think it's safe to say that her casting is actually pretty good compared to the others. She has a very sweet voice like Samantha Kelly's Peach has in the games, which actually makes her suitable for the voice role.

This is crazy. her masterpiece isn't even mentioned The Miniaturist. Set in 15th or 16th c. Amsterdam. She plays a farm girl sold into marriage, in the city to a wealthy young merchant.
It is so brilliant, it is fantastic. And she looks right out of the period as a little Dutch girl. A great mystery piece.

Funnily - my favorite scene with Anya Taylor-Joy came from The New Mutants, when Magick was drawing something and Lockheed was watching on attentively. Something about that scene just seems deeply in-character and right to me, further cementing how great an actress she is.
