Chandler and Monica were the most pleasantly surprising connection, they also ending up being the best romantic couple on Friends and one of the best in TV history. They had amazing chemistry, better stability, sacrifice, compromise, trust, continued best friendship bond, and understanding throughout their relationship. As you re-watch Friends episodes, Chandler's and Monica's relationship had growth, development, depth, and maturity as they made the heartwarming transition from romantically dating to married couple with adopted kids. Matthew Perry and Courteney Cox portrayed such a natural compatibility on-screen. This is much appreciated and well-recognized.

The best thing about Chandler and Monica's relationship on Friends is that even when they started their romantic connection after that fateful and pleasantly surprising hookup, they still maintained their overall best friendship rapport. Open communication, random high fives, sarcastic, light-hearted, back-and-forth banter. similar to their close friends relationship they had during the earlier seasons. Along with being an adorable, romantic, & mature couple built on sacrifice, compromise, and trust, at their core foundation is a strong friendship bond that remained as well. Chandler's and Monica's relationship became the heart and soul of Friends.

For the shows that I watched, like the Nanny, I knew they were coming. It was totally obvious that they were going to get together. The one that sort of shocked me was Monica and Chandler because they didn't have the typical romantic chemistry story like Niles and CeCe. I say sort of because we knew that Monica had a crush on Chandler in the past. The fact that the comedy writers wrote such a romantic thoughtful story, that was surprising. After they turned Ross into a tool, pretty early on in the series, I didn't want him and Rachel together. In my mind Friends only has one couple, Monica and Chandler.

Haven't watched all of these but agree with Monica & Chandler (was extremely surprised with this one when I first saw it because back then it was new, April & Andy, Dwight & Angela.
Can't agree with Rick & Michonne, Barney & Robin, and that's mainly because I feel I was way more invested in Rick & Lori, and Ted & Robin from the beginning.
Also I was never sure about Hyde & Jackie either, sometimes I wanted them to be together other times I was like. eh.

Daisy Johnson and Daniel Sousa would be good on this list. No one would have thought of it, they were from different shows and different timelines and they both already had great loves in their lives, but their relationship was an amazing addition to both of their storylines. Honestly everything about Agents of Shield doesn't get enough credit they did their show, their characters, and their fans right.

Jackie and Hyde were the reason I started watching That 70s Show. I stopped watching it when they broke up.
I started watching Parks and Recreation for April and Andy but I fell in love with everyone else and now I'm torn between Ben/Leslie, Ron/Diane and April/Andy.
Monica and Chandler were the most superior Friends couple. Chandler was always my favourite and they were meant to be together.

For me it was Jake and Amy from Brooklyn 99. Within the show, there was build up so it doesn't fit this list, but I personally didn't care if they got together for the first few seasons. Once they actually started dating, I loved watching their relationship develop. They're one of my favorite tv couples now.

Saying HIMYMs finale was controversial implies theres a debate between people who liked it and those that loathed it. The series finale was not controversial because it was universally loathed and in most peoples opinions, it retroactively killed the whole series due to its level of awfulness.

even though they went with bing and geller how about her brother geller and greene cause they did end up with each other at the end of the series also plans to have a child or gilmore and danes a lot of people were waiting and hoping with that couple too
reply

Daisy Johnson and Daniel Sousa from Agents of Shield should have been on this list. Before they added him to the show, if you told someone they would end up together (and be amazing together) they would have thought you were insane
reply

Totally agree with number one! I mean, I shipped Monica and Chandler long before they got together but it's just me, I bet most people have never thought of that
I hated Sam and Freddie tho, Sam was pretty much Freddie's bully

reply

Rick and Michonne! Idk, I was too out of the romance thing when it came to The Walking Dead because of all the death and mourning, but once they kissed, I feel in love with their relationship. They are a beautiful couple
reply

stefan and caroline was a relationship that most of the fan did not want they were like last minute thing it feels like they were pushed up together
in my opinion caroline should've ended up with klaus

Monica and Chandler are my favorite fictional couple ever. Sawyer and Juliet shouldve been in the main list, not just an honorable mention. And no love for Ryan and Taylor on The OC? They were so cute!
reply

This list actually made me so so happy. Man I forgot how much I missed Zoey 101. Talk about a blast from the past! I really did love most of these couples (and the others I just didn't know about.
reply

Cory and Topanga.
Topanga wasn't supposed to be a series regular, or even a love interest, but the writers noticed that it worked and kept her on.
And the rest is history.

reply

Caroline and Stephan hell no! Like, that relationship felt like Stephan just settled. If he has to choose between Caroline and Elena he would think for a minute then choose Elena.
reply

Well I liked the list but without Pacey and Joey it just didnt make sense to me. Even the writer said in an interview that that was never going to happen.
reply

I vote, for such a list, on Buffy-Spike and Dean-Castiel, not only cause interesting storytelling but also cause it would make their respective creators mad
reply

i will say that monica and chandler was out of nowhere but man, it was pretty amazing. and so good that it became the first lasting marriage.
reply

Oh my God! Juliette and Sawyer were definitely the best couple on Lost or this list. They found peace together but didnt lose their edge.
reply

Do people really ship Caroline and stephen? He is the worst character in the show and she's one of the best. They have no chemistry.
reply

I disagree with Rick and Michonne. I don't feel the actors had any romantic chemistry with one another and just felt forced to me
reply

Amazing video and what about Clark & Lois or Clark & Lana from Smallville also Alyson & Emily from pretty little liars too.
reply

At first, Quinn and Logan was a bit weird for them to be a couple. In the end though, Quinn and Logan fit well together.
reply

Bobby and Athena 911
Scott and Malia Teen Wolf
Jax and Emma Every Witch Way
Diego and Maddie Every Witch Way

reply

Uhm why are Dwight and Angela not number one? Edit: okay now I get it, but they should be higher than Zoey 101!
reply

Joey and Pacey--they hated each other at first but you could see them grow up together and fall in love!
reply

i hate that i started this video wanting to find a new show to watch but I've already seen everything
reply

I think Lars and the Real Girl is certainly in the mix, with a great performance from Ryan Gosling.
