The Twilight point was not a plot twist because in the second movie, it is shown through Alice that Bella would become a vampire plus it is in the books. I still don't understand how she was able to become pregnant. Because being a vampire means killing your human body. Like what? If male vampires still have sperm, then why are female vampires unable to conceive? The plot twist for Twilight was her becoming pregnant and the fight scene. Really wish the fight scene was real because they would've overthrown the Volturi since most of the influential members were killed.
Also, disappointed that Bridge to Terabithia is not on here. But A Walk to Remember, Mean Girls, and My Girl got to me. I was expecting Gus to get cancer because they focus so much on how he is a survivor. I never watched Juno or Easy A or Scream.

. how was Bella becoming a vampire in the third movie a plot twist? If you would've read the books, she's been trying to get Edward to change her since the first book so she can live forever with him and he didn't want to turn her into a 'soulless creature' which is why it took her dying in childbirth to get him to do it. They knew it was gonna happen that's why he had that huge ass syringe with his extracted venom in it.

Anyone who read the Twilight series werent surprised at all. Actually the real plot twist was all the vampires getting butchered in Breaking Dawn during Alice's vision. Also they left out a major plot twist from the books when Edward basically gives Jacob permission to impregnate Bella if he'll convince her to abort his abomination. So really, Bella could have had them both. lol

I have to say Scooby Doo On Zombie Island had a good plot twist (yeah it's a direct to DVD Scooby film but the plot twist at the end was pretty good. People who have never seen the movie are actually shocked when they get to the ending when the people who were the nicest to the scooby gang ended turning into Werecats and the Zombies ended up being the good guys.

Look, people can joke and hate on Twilight all day long, but there's a reason it was hugely popular. I read the book series after my mother passed away, and it truly offered me escape and therefore solace. I think the directors did a great job converting the beloved book series into movies. I know I'm likely in the minority on this, but I don't care!

#10: not a plot twist.
#9: not a plot twist.
#7: on thin ice.
#3: not a plot twist.
Come on, Watchmojo, this isnt that hard. Learn the difference between a plot EVENT, which only affects what happens going forward, and a plot TWIST, which causes you to reevaluate previous events with new information.

Also why does everyone like The Fault in Our Stars so much. I watched it and didnt like it. It was tired & cliche. The characters had no chemistry & then killing off Augustus at the end was just unwarranted. Paper Towns was a much better book/movie. Although I did like the book ending better than the movie

I really appreciated Jennifer Garner's character in Juno asking her husband what he did, rather than let him speak for Juno (a minor whose pregnancy made her especially vulnerable & even more unlikely to speak up if in an awkward situation with any with real or perceived power over her.

Um. so this video is how I first realized that they mismatched John Ambrose in the To All The Boys I've Loved movies had to rewind and be certain that the memory of Job Ambrose was definitely not the same ethnicity/physicality to the actor that played him in the second movie
Awkward

I'm sorry but Bella becoming a vampire in the end was the most obvious thing from the beginning of the series. Who did NOT know that she would be transform and both of them would live happily ever after? Twilight is just a story that would have had a happy ending at all costs.

fault in our stars and a walk to remember same thing even though jamie played by mandy and gus played by ensel algort. in my girl thomas j originally allergic to bees then died from it not so much plot twist common sense right there

My girl (1991) made me ugly cry. That's the saddest movie I've ever seen in my life. When I met Macaulay Culkin and told him I can't watch that movie without crying, he hugged me. It's the saddest romantic movie I've ever watched.

How pretentious does it make me sound when I say most of these didnt surprise me because I read the book first? Specifically number 1? Like I was in the theater sobbing before the news broke on screen.

The moment in WarGames after David and Falken finally convince Berringer to call off the attack, Joshua getting super pissed off and starts hacking into the computer to launch the missiles himself

I remember watching twilight breaking dawn part 1 for the first time with my family and when Bella opened her eyes and they were red we all were left speechless
We was like NO FREAKING WAY

For me it was Remember Me. The very end when Robert Pattinson's character was at the top of the World Trade Center right as the airplane was about to crash into it. Didn't see it coming at all.

Keith, when Natalie was falling for bad boy Keith and [SPOILER] finds out he was deliberately pushing her away because he knows he has cancer in the film. I don't know if that film counts

My Girl seriously knocked kid me sideways. I think that was my first experience with death and grief that wasn't animated. To this day, I still find it extremely difficult to watch.

What about The Perks of being a Wallflower? The plow twist about the abusive relationship between Charlie and his aunt was really shocking. Even in the book I didn't see that coming.
reply

Anything based on a book really doesn't count as a plot twist I would say. Since a lot of people would already know and half of your list, including the top 2 are based on novels
reply

The shocking thing about The fault in our Stars was that you always thought Hazel was more ill, and Gus had survived his cancer. You did expect her to die, not him
reply

All I have to say is for number 8 is that How come no one can get the name right. Micah is my real name and no one can pronounce it right. I just wonder why that is.
reply

Come on, we all knew Bella was gonna become a vampire eventually, plus we all knew another movie was coming and you can't have Twightlight without Bella. DUH! LOL
reply

I would say Bella getting pregnant was a bigger plot twist than her turning into a vampire. Her becoming one was a stipulation for her agreeing to marry Edward.
reply

In breaking dawn part 1 I guess everyone was expecting and knowing that Bella gonna turns into a Vampire, I don't think that can be considered as a plot twist
reply

I feel like since some of these came from popular books, by the time the movie came out it wasnt that shocking.
But OMG do I still cry during My Girl.

reply

Why isn't there the plot twist of 5 feet apart on the list? I mean the one where Poe dies the night before the day he would've seen his boyfriend again.
reply

If you read the twilight books then no number 9 was not an unexpected twist. also my girl breaks my heart and continue to do so to this day.
reply

In the Breaking Dawn book you knew she was goin to be a vampire. Otherwise the book wouldve been way shorter. Its all she has been wanting.
