Was anyone else annoyed at Ted when he broke off his friendship with Barney? It seemed like typical Ted immaturity. He had a girlfriend at the time, Robin isnt his object to be offended about, and it had been a decent amount of time from when they slept together. Plus Ted literally told Barney he still had feelings for Robin THE DAY BEFORE HIS WEDDING. I dont know Im just so pressed lmao

Although Barney having a kid is a nice thing about the ending, it is highly unrealistic.
Barney had been with 300+ women in his life and said himself that he had tried years training his boys to swim the other way but couldn't. It was implied that he is infertile just like Robin and suddenly he gets someone pregnant just like that.

Marshall is by far the lesser of the 5. His only role is as Lily's partner. He's rarely a good friend, usually ignores Robin & is hostile to Barney. He's dull & judgmental. He often claims that his home town is wonderful, yet chooses to live hundreds of miles away from it for many years while assuming & expecting Lily to move there.

the more i watch the show the more i realize both how lucky Robin is to have 2 good men who love her that much and how much she is messed up she had several chances with both Ted and Barney and could never get it to last but she still got to be happy in her own way

Ted hearing Tracey sing La Vie en Rose for the first time and the airport scene at the end of Three Days of Snow. Marshall greeting Lily with the marching band gets me every time.

I'm still pissed off at the ending. The ending would have been easier to take if we hadn't have been so invested in the mother. If Ted and Robin were the end game all along we shouldn't have met the mother until the very end.

Barney with his daughter was only saved by NPH acting.
The rest of the finale is a piece of garbage that ruins all the characters (except marshall) and makes seasons 6-9 completely pointless.

Even though I dont like what is shown on screen during it (and after it) in the shows original ending, the speech Ted gives at the end of Last Forever Part 2 brought me close to crying when I heard it.

I always loved the episode where, during Marshal and Lillys breakup, Barney keeps stealing girls from Marshal, then when he flies to San Francisco to convince Lilly to return to Marshal we find out why.
