Im near the end of season 3, rewatching the series. I grew up watching with my grandma, so I have fond memories of the show. My all time favorite scene is when Blanche meets Roses boyfriend Jonathan, & thinks shes playing a joke on her. The way she keeps laughing & says Gawd I wish I was dead, & then comes out with the appetizers & says Shrimp, & immediately loops around the chair, & back in the kitchen embarrassed.

I remembered all of them, except Tarantino. Could add Jerry Orbach as Dorothy's married boyfriend in an episode. Nancy Walker as Sophia's sister Angela Vecchio, Billy Barty as Rose's dad in a dream and Don Ameche as her real father.
George Clooney had already been on two sitcoms as a regular before his Golden Girls episode. E/R and The Facts of Life.

When she demands a ruling, Jeopardy creator Merv Griffin walks on the set. He claims that he says that Cary Grant is correct, because it's his show.

What always perplexed me is that the audience didn't applaud at the entrance of Debbie Reynolds on GG? Debbie Reynolds has always been famous and America's sweetheart as Betty white. Singing in the rain and the Elizabeth Taylor life episode. I wonder why?

My Favorites would have to be: George Clooney, Leslie Neilson, and Mario Lopez. To catch A theif featured one of Blanche's best acting moments, the way she took care of george after the shooting, just like any mother would.

What is Egot? I never hated that Empty Nest episode like all the other Golden Girls fans do. I could sit through it just fine. Center Of Attention though, that is the WORST thing ever committed to film.

When G Girls ended. they should have not done Golden Palace. they should have had Debbie Reynolds move in as Dorothy's permanent replacement. imagine all the fun she and Blanche would have had.
