This dumb show is such comfort food for me, esp after the last 5 years. Sometimes, you need a familiar world like this, and I know that if I was having a rough time, finding myself in the BBT's apartments would soothe my soul as much as a stay in the Brady Bunch house or the Friends' apartments/Central Perk would.
ETA: Say! There's a possible topic: shows with settings that are home to countless viewers. Number one would probably have to be the Brady house, but Stars Hollow would likely be close behind.

Not gonna lie, rewatching the show in the early seasons makes me realize how good it was and how bad it became.
They pandered WAY TOO MUCH to Sheldons character. To the point he became insufferable more then funny. Still funny once and a while but mostly annoying when it was originally the other way around.
It tells you everything that the show ended not because the cast was done but because only one of its cast (parsons) wanted to leave.

Here's another one that was hinted at, but needs to be said: the show nailed its series finale.
In an era when so many shows fail to stick the landing, it's refreshing to see a highly successful show leave pretty much everyone satisfied with how it goes out. And from the long-awaited payoff of the elevator being fixed to Sheldon's Nobel speech dedicated to his friends, TBBT completely nailed it.

I absolutely miss spending 30 minutes each week with my TV boyfriend, Shelly Cooper, and his friends. I still catch it several times each week in reruns and it never gets old. And when I think of the best Mark Hammil role, I giggle thinking of him performing the Shamy wedding.

I hated the hurtful sarcasm, specially about nerds.
Not to mention raj had inconsistent plot.
First season he could score with girls later no, again yes, and kater no.

I got to watch all the 12 seasons of this sitcom twice, and I can say that it's a fun and entertaining and informational one, plus we can't avoid the fact that there were some touching and sad moments!
