I caught on to this show a couple years ago when it was saved by Netflix. (Lol)
I became completely obsessed with it! I started getting a crush on Lauren, and absolutely loved her fashion style!
I also became obsessed with Maze and her throwing knives, and was finally compelled to get a tattoo of the knives on my calf. Loved the meaning behind of what they were for her. Though small, they create serious damage, or don't judge something by its size. (I'm 5 foot tall)
One of my favorite scenes is when Luci went on a bender and was hooked on the show Bones. One of my favorite tv shows of all time.
Also, can't forget to give credit, where credit is due- Tom on the show Miranda, the small but very popular British tv show, where I first saw him.

Lux aeterna - eternal light - is also representative of god, so calling the devils nightclub where the party never stops Lux is a subtle joke
You guys barely scratched the surface of this masterpiece (excepting the disappointing final season, which Im happy to pretend never happened. Would love to see more Lucifer content - and I think Im due for another rewatch
Oh, and the song that plays when Luci leaves Chloe to return to Hell is utterly, heart-breakingly, spine-tinglingly perfect. Its a tragedy we didnt get to see what the creative team could have accomplished if they hadnt had all the network BS to deal with

In Lucifer's penthouse, the stained glass window shows the Tree of Knowledge from the Garden of Eden, with Adam and Eve as children standing next to it. The chandelier is the Tree of Life; it lights the room and represents life in the earthly plane; its reflection represents the unearthly plane that is the realm of Hell, and the dark glass ceiling represents the portal between life and death.

I don't think Beatrice Trixie has a deeper meaning. I believe it to just be a reference to Tom Kapinos' (the showrunner) previous show Califonication. Judy Greer played a hooker named Beatrice that went by Trixie. She introduced herself as Trixie and David Duchovny said That's a lovely name for a hooker unaware that she was indeed a prostitute.

Favorite one is God saying, I really am going to miss riding the bus. I think its a callback to a few seasons earlier when Lucifer said, That song is inaccurate. My father would never be caught dead on public transit. You know when Chloe and Ella were quoting Jill Sobule's One of Us.

As a person who has a strong religious background, this show gave me chills. The imagery, the music, the acting, the humor, but the attention to detail and inclusion of so many cultures in Religion solidified my love for this marvelous series. Hail Lucifer?

I really noticed the music. My teen daughter was watching it and the guitar riff from INXS' Devil Inside came on. She didn't recognize it but I did. If you didn't know the song you might miss the reference. There are so many musical cues like this.

Another small one - Tom Welling, who played Cain here and Clark Kent in Smallville in the 2000s, said he was from a small town in the midwest when he first met Lucifer and Chloe. Just like Clark Kent in Smallville!

That wasnt the Roosevelt hotel. Its The Rosslyn Hotel. Roosevelt was built in 1927 and Rosslyn was built in 1914. Many people mix them up in certain photos but its definitely The Rosslyn.

The suggestion that Bones was the best tv show ever, except of course, More Bones in the future. Lucifer refers to it every season, even going so far as to put it on his to do list in S6.

Season 4 of Lucifer was fantastic, but seasons 5 and 6 were a big disappointment for me. They focused way too much on Chloe and Lucifer's relationship drama and I got so bored with it.

Another detail: Trixies full name is Beatrice, started with a B. Her parents name are Chloe and Dan (B, C n D. Then when Chloe had another daughter, she was named Aurora. So, A, B, C, D

As a guest of Lux, who had no idea of all that devilish and celestial stuff, I would LOVE that, we can ALLWAYS tell what mood Lucifer currently is in, based just of songs he plays
reply

only RED thing, ridiculous, forced.
Why not black; piano black, convertible black, amenediel wings black. Lux mostly black.
Wait? this is devil show or romantic show.

I loved this series & was very sorry to see it end! They could've really played with the continuing story. The characters and actors were really wonderful and I miss them!
reply

Trixie - and the line that's a hookers name is also a reference to the a character on the show Californication, on which Tom Kapinos was also a producer.

11: 40 has a detail I just noticed:
Shirtless Lucifer having recovered his (beautiful) human form: Look at that, Detective!
Chloe smiling: Okay

reply

Not totally true with the music theme I mean Tove lo talking body and 2ne1 mdtb doesn't have any reference to any but I agree that most of the songs do
reply

This ended great. Everyone got their ending unlike watching shameless for 11 seasons and you don't know anything when it ends except for Frank's death

i love how they used the same apron (or backsplash? sorry english is not my motherlanguage) in cook scenes that says: kiss the cook or smth like this

Amenadiel in the First season: Your return to hell has been requested
Amenadiel in the Last season: Your return to heaven has been requested

When lucifer wanted to hurt someone eve was in red on his left telling him to do it and Chloe was in white on his right that was really cool
reply

Absolutely loved Lucifer however the final season really ruined it. Was very rushed and the ending wasn't the best either
reply

Could anyone tell what the miniature means? By the Way Lucifer playing the piano remembers me Dominic Purcell in John Doe!
reply

Lucifer actually wears the same suit he wore at the premiere of s4, in the s4 finale when he is sitting on the throne.
reply

Absolutely love the show and this list, but the clip about the most haunted hotel says Rosslyn Hotel - not Roosevelt!
reply

I was so mad about trixie in the last season it was like she was forgotten when she was there in the beginning
reply

This show owns me like no other. It's a masterpiece! Can't get enough of this devilishly amazing series
