What seriously pisses me off is the fact that the authorities didnt even start searching for the truth until RIGHT AFTER Suzannes death literally just when it was too late. Unbelievable. I could be mistaken, but I dont think it would have taken much looking into Warren Marshalls history to realize that his identity was a fake all along, which would have led them to realize that his daughters was too. Floyd (and his aliases) didnt become a person of interest at all until right after the little girl he kidnapped became a corpse. Its beyond infuriating.
From my understanding, Suzannes biggest opportunity to get away from that monster was in her friend, Jennifer, who knew what was going on behind closed doors for years. If she had just spoken up about what she witnessed, whether to her parents, the police, or teachers, then that could have made all the difference. All it mightve taken was speaking up to an adult. If Suzanne herself didnt reach out for help, then Jennifer could have probably still gotten Warren looked into because she was a direct witness. Thats all Im saying.
Im not trying to be harsh, and I know Jennifer was just a kid at the time. She was scared and confused and didnt know what to do. Thats understandable and Im not necessarily trying to place blame on her. Im not blaming the authorities either, since Suzannes death was the biggest smoke signal of Floyds treachery. Im just pointing out the necessity of speaking up, no matter how hard it is.
If you witness anything, please say something, whether the actual victim wants you to or not.

Siriusly,
I still have so many questions! Did frank kill suzanne marie sevakis or was it really a hit and run car accident? Did they ever find Michael Hughes remains? What happened to her first pregnancy / and or first baby she was supposedly giving up for adopting before she had Michael and Megan? Is that the third child briefly mention the documentary? Did the biological parents of suzanne marie sevakis ever truly search for her and if so why did nothing come of it? Who is the father of all suzanne marie sevakis children? How many other people has frank potentially killed or seriously harmed? What is will or has become of frank after all was said and done? My head just keeps spinning with more and more questions. Ive tried to research online to find more details to hopefully find some answers but nothing has come of it please let me know if something I dont and are willing to share. I would seriously appreciate it. At the very least Im glad suzanne marie sevakis has finally claim back with true identity and can Rest In Peace.

God! But this tragic story gave me the heebie geebies! A half century or more ago, when I was a young single parent, my every move was scrutinized by the Children's Aid Society here in Canada. No welfare for me. I had to have a full-time job, a nice home, supports in place, a reliable baby-sitter, and no monkeying around if I wanted to retain custody. It seems as if we've gone from one extreme to the other. So many stories now of long term domestic abuse where abused children and women fall under the radar. It makes you wonder how many other sad stories are out there. Oh, Suzanne's bio-logical parents! I was a young Mom too, but I loved my kid and would have done anything not to lose custody.

There are crime stories where the deaths are grislier and the body count far higher, but this is one of the saddest and most gut-wrenching things I've ever watched. There is just something about the fact that this poor girl died never even knowing her own real name that just tears my heart out. People like the guy in this story remind me of the opening line of an article that I believe was written about the Polly Klaas case. It said something to the effect, We tuck our children into their beds; kiss them goodnight and tell them to sleep well because there are no real monsters. But we lie.

I just finished watching, and my heart is heavy. That man and birth mother are monsters! The mother showed no emotions nor concerns about her daughter or other children, and she had the audacity referring to her daughter with the nickname Susie! The two monsters made themselves out as victims. They are the true roots of narcissism. I wished her birth father would had taken the time to locate his daughter once he got on his feet. Even if he decided she was better off without him at least reach out to know her whereabouts.

It's the saddest crime story I ever watched. Completely shocked and grief stricken by what Suzanne shad to go through her whole life. I am heart broken honestly that this extent of evil exists in this world. And the most horrifying thing is that people like Floyd could fool the society, lega system and got way with his crimes for a long time. Floyd's mother failed him. Suzanne's mother failed her. Somebody is always there to take advantage when caretakers become indifferent, reckless, and selfish. Please don't have children if you can't be a responsible parent.

Wasnt her being kidnapped blatantly obvious when he came back as no relation to the Michael from the court ordered DNA test?
Obviously the stories of her being made to turn tricks at the strip club means the real father of Michael was probably unknown but if he was her real dad he would have been a familial DNA match as Michaels grandfather.
And not to be a buzz kill but does that girl know who her father is? Is it that dude? I forget his real name. He had so many aliases.

Basically everybody failed her. Her biological mother, her father, her friend who witnesses her being raped by her father and never told anyone, her friends at the club who knew that something was off. I just can't believe that there was absolutely no way to help her get away from him. To be honest, this documentary left us with so many unanswered questions. This story is very sad, but also a lot of things just don't make sense.

Suzanne's mother is no different from franklin floyd. What happened to her other two children? She didn't care, she didn't even care about looking for Suzanne, right now she doesn't care about her grand daughter, she isn't even at the grave yard when the tombstone is unveiled. As for franklin floyd, let him get what he deserves, what an evil evil evil human being. This is a tragic and sad story.

There would have been so many opportunities to get her away from that man - SO many. EVERYONE failed her. Even the people in the documentary who seem like they have hearts and feel like they did the best they could. failed. All we keep hearing is how SHE never asked for help. Everyone knew she was getting beaten and raped and she was a teenager. And nobody did anything.

What I learned from this story that some people wants to find the real name of a person to be identified and known by people who she was, how much more GOD wanted to be known by all what his true name and what kind of GOD he was. But some of them do not seek the truth!

I think it is incredible that they were finally able identify Suzanne and give her a proper memorial service and burial. The one thing I do wish they would have done is put Michael's name on the headstone as well. They could be remembered together that way.

I remember watching the Unsolved Mysteries episode of this and if I remember correctly it ended with not only the mystery of little Michael's whereabouts but also the truth about who his mother is. I think at that time they didn't know her true identity.

How are you going to participate in a documentary about a high school friend that was raped in front of you by her own father at gunpoint but not report that incident to your parents or the police? Just doesnt make sense. You couldve saved so many lives.

Im sorry but I just feel that theres more either the birth mom, birth dad, social services and the police could have done more when Suzanne first got kidnapped. The mother and the police need to be locked up as well.

I have a huge issue with how Michael Hughs was kidnapped. That principals sole job is to protect children, not sissy out and allow a child to be murdered. Shame on you! That principal deserves jail time. POS.

It's crazy how it was never the mother's fault in her eyes. None of any of the bad things would have happened if they were more responsible. Irresponsibility is what caused bad things.

This man's legacy in life is that he caused pain and suffering to everybody he encountered. So many victims including that couple that fostered Michael for 4 years.

This is probably the saddest story Ive ever heard. That poor girl endured so much, maintained so much light, was so loving to her friends, and died so very young.

If Hollywood made a movie like this no one would believe it! Reality is stranger than fiction and the level of evil in real life is astonishing and scary!
