Yet it is one interview I saw with Priscilla that even made me watch the movie, to begin with, that should answer your question. She said that Austin had Elvis's mannerisms down so well that he captured movements and twitches to the point she had to wonder if it was Elvis or Austin. She made a comment that Austin shown even had Elvis's mood swings and attitudes perfectly. Sorry I am going to go with what family says to answer your question of did Austin do Elvis justice.

Fabulous video about Austin and the Elvis Movie. I loved it all. He put in so much effort and dedication into playing Elvis the best way possible. I stopped watching TV 6 years ago and I just first heard about Austin and the Elvis movie the day before Lisa Presley died. I want to see this movie. I know I will love it. I loved Elvis every time the many times I saw him on TV in the 1960s until he died in the 1970s. I remember his Elvis Live in Las Vegas big Special in 1972. He was at his best. I don't care about Oscars I care about how Austin gave his heart and soul for years to play Elvis just right.

I wish I had the words to articulate how incredible this movie is! There will never be another movie in my lifetime that will have the impact on the world that this movie has maybe not ever again. This is a once in a lifetime phenomena and that is all because of Austin and the directors who chose him. Its just a phenomenal movie. Ive never seen anything like it. The only two movies that ever impacted me to this level was the Wizard of Oz and Gone with the Wind.

Seriouslymy opinion of this movie was a little off, but that young man worked his ass off and hit the Elvis nail on the head. Cant wait to see him in other projects so he is not typecast. Amazing work ethic! So humble, the whole package. Please dont be led down the same road, although the Colonel is long gone. Adoration and fame can be a dangerous aphrodisiac. Continue to give em hell Austin!

As a child of the 70's, I grew up knowing Elvis through my parents, his music, his movies, I watched his legacy enfold and learned to love his music too. He was always tucked in the back of my mind. Then, this performance by Austin Butler brought all his glory back. What a joy watching this movie, what a joy seeing Elvis again! OSCAR!

Cannot replace Elvis, for Movie acting, and movie effects, editing, the whole illusion, he was the great choice, blending his pictures with Elvis and so forth, there isnt another Elvis, Austin was great. I watched that movie for days and would still be if I could. Never got tired of it, loved it, grateful for this movie,

Impeccable. I'm an Elvis fan now. I couldn't figure out with the obsession was only knowing the Hawaii and Vegas Elvis. After seeing this movie I am just flabbergasted that he was not even more celebrated for years to come and I'm glad that this will do that for Elvis and his family

Austin Butler without a doubt is the man! What a STELAR performance in this film as The King.
Saw it in the theater 5 times. Bought it on DVD, whenever it came out! I am a HUGE Austin Butler
fan now! He should definitely get an Oscar for his OUTSTANDING performance.

Although it did well, because of Austin's looks I never got into it, he sounds fairly good, but he just never drew me into the film because he didn't look like Elvis.
I think a better choice would have been Shaun klush, but what's done is done.

I can see where he would also be an excellent James Dean! I have seen a whole bunch of incredible Elvis impersonator here in Pigeon Forge Tennessee at Memories Theatre. I would love, love love to see Austin come here to do some shows!

Austin did an amazing job. I was afraid to watch the movie since Elvis is so unique that I didn't think anyone could really play him, but I was blown away. I also love how they included political issues and segregation in the movie.

Of course, I honestly do think Austin Butler did Elvis Justice! Wothout a doubt! He had the real moves, real voice in talking and singing! He was fantastic in portraying Elvis! He even looked the part right down to a perfect T!

No one could ever do better as Elvis than Austin. He was amazing! Lisa Marie and Riley and other family members they approved things. Lisa Marie said it was spot on. Amazing job Austin.

I think that Austin Butler is by far the best Elvis and an Elvis movie. Besides Elvis himself he matched his tone he matched his accent, his mannerisms everything was spot on.

Im a Memphis girl. That is my hometown so Im very protective of Elvis. Austin did an outstanding job being Elvis. It was eerie at times.
