Judge Judy and that show are nothing but a huge video scam of the highest order. Judy Sheindlin is a diminutive tart that is all robe and no justice. The litigants, or should we say contestants are more or less game show participants rather than legal system adversaries. These(erstwhile) litigants have their transit, lodging, and other expenses prepaid by the show producers. They in fact risk little more than their time. Next when the judge rules any money damages due one of the parties they are paid by the producers, hence the only justice involved is most likely someone having to pay for their own beer from the hotel room refrigerator. There are no penalties or justice actually administered by the little robed faker. The T V audience is scammed and left in the lurch. Those stern rehearsed attempts at witty chastisement fall far short of an actual creative attorney whos command of the language would see her more or less taking general Custer's breakfast order.

in the case of the dog and the pig. thats the one time i felt JJ ruled wrongfully. The owner of the dog could have put her dog in the house and then filmed the pig on her property. instead. she let her dog be in harm's way as she filmed because she wanted an easy payday. And the fact that she didnt even take her dog to the vet right away backs that up. She didnt care about her dogs well being. She just wanted to see how much money she could get for a lawsuit. Granted. the owner of the pig should have done a better job at keeping her animal on her own property. However animals can escape even the most secure yards. Which is why i feel there should have been a little more leniency on her end.

That ebay ecam is happening with Wreaths. People in china are STEALING non watermark pix of creations posted by wreath makers then post on Ebay for sale. some makers ordered to see what they would get considering the pix were stolen. One lady showed us a pillow on the front on a screen print pix of the wreath! Others will do the scams where you get a poster or framed pix but unless you look at the listing with a fine tooth comb you miss it and 5hing you are getting the item itself. what helps the scam is rather than a $2 asking price for a pix of a diecast collectable model car, they ask $40 making you think it's the model since that's the price range. scammers

I remember one where the guy scammed the girl. JJ said to the defendant you can either do this or that, what is your pleasure? He said well I like skiing and riding dirt bikes. He was a smart butt the entire time. JJ immediately dismissed the case, without prejudice I believe. This caused the plaintiff to bust out crying. What the plaintiff didnt realize at the time was that JJ was going to help her take this case to a higher court. The plaintiff was willing to take a partial return in small claims court. Unfortunately never heard anymore about it.

I'm surprised how many of these episodes I've watched.
I was expecting to see a certain episode from January 2021 on here that I would love to watch again.
A teen boy who sued a teen girl who fake a pregnancy and miscarriage to trap him, and told the boy's mom her own mom was dead. All this came out in court with both of the teens' mom's there. The girl's mom was hearing all that mess for the first time. Istg that little girl is gonna grow up to be a serial killer if her parents don't get her into therapy.
Can't remember who won.

This list is not even close to the craziest people. How do you leave out the ginger lady who sued over her missing Tupperware? She even barged into the defendants bedroom while she was in bed to confront her about it! EditedOk, I see you included the Tupperware lady on a list of craziest cases from three years ago. Youve redeemed yourself. I suggest you use Volume 1, Volume 2, etc for each video you add.

Judy handled the ebay scammer brilliantly. She found the ad listed the weight of item as 4 oz or some such. Judge Judy weighed the two pieces of paper and found they weighed less than an ounce. So even according to the scammer's own logic, she committed fraud because she listed the pieces of paper as different weight than they were. Genius.

The case about the eBay seller that sold photos, if the listing was clear on what exactly the item was, including pointing out that the phones themselves were not being sold, then the buyer would be the one in the wrong about it. To find in the plaintiffs favor would be a decision of morality and not legality.

The grub that sold the photocopy of the copy of the phone was a real POS. This slug was so rude and such a smart ass, she came up against the right woman, when she came up against Judge Judy! JJ put her right in her place, she had no defence, just that she was a scam artist I guess. Sucked in you grub! xoxox

I like the one where the woman was suing a lady for using the handicap stall in a bathroom. The woman using the bathroom mentioned she used it because it was bigger and she was pregnant, not realizing that made her considered disabled as well and it was all thrown out

Judge Judy always yells at mothers/wives with small children to get a job--even when the husband is already working! What are the babies supposed to do, raise themselves? Kudos to all women who raise their own kids instead of sticking therm in daycare centers.

The best (read: worst) case was where a mother was suing an ex for something after he'd injured her son due to abuse. The woman was absolutely clueless and imho not a good mother, the worst part (if it could get any worse) she was a social worker.

Filkins suffered big time and rightly so. Her husband left her and took the children while she was in Jail serving a sentence for fraud (the phone pictures. She came out to nothing and no one and committed suicide. All for trying to work a con

If the announcer had talked less and had shown more of each case, I might have enjoyed the content. However, it seems the announcer was the one who wanted the attention and probably should have been in the list of strangest people.
reply

It was more than clear that she wanted to
Pretend she was something that she is not.
Pity she didnt use her suits salary to go to a finishing school and learn how a lady behaves.
The slapper still shines through.

You do know that it's only a television show, don't you? That production pays the fines that Judge Judy orders to be paid to the defendant or the plaintiff, right? And that Judge Judy isn't a real judge anymore, right.

Weirdest i've seen was the two girls on heroin. At the end, she told one of them she could collect after taking a hair follicle test for controlled substances. Never have been able to find that episode again.

My favorite episode is when customer Donald Lake sues cashier Shannon McConnell for shortchanging him $10 in change. Judge Judy awarded HER $2500 and fined the plaintiff for court charges.

Surely abortion is better than having those people who are behaving like slave traders with that baby.
Mind you they do say owners resemble their pets.

reply

there is an older episode with a young, unmarried couple from South Boston, the kid could not stop using the F word, hysterical, can you find it?
reply

the one with the photos of the phones is valid. If all information stated it was a photo for sale, its final. Legal? Yes. Immoral, depends who you ask.
reply

I have several, but think the one that sticks in my mind most is the custody dispute over a cute little doggy. and Judy bought her and took her home!
reply

If we got Judy, Anne Robertson, Simon Cowell, and Gordon Ramsey together on some kind of Talent Show, that would be gold to watch.
reply

The worst is the guy who sued the grocery store clerk because he bought a $4 bottle of champagne and she gave him the wrong change.
reply

The obese woman uses a toilet and it broke. Is it inconceivable that her weight broke the toilet. Toilets can't take unlimited weight.
reply

Looking at these judge Judy videos, you get the impression that two-thirds of American women are grossly overweight or obese.
reply

Marsha Lambert's case. JJ had Byrd throw out this big dude, mentioned alienation of affection, and each party recovered $1.
reply

In the case of the Great Dane and the pot bellied pig, you know how they say how owners start to look like their pets?
