These Disney callbacks made us more emotional than an Inside Out character. For this list, well be looking at the most poignant moments from the studios movies that refer back to an earlier scene or line of dialogue. Our countdown includes Encanto, Hercules, Coco, and more! Which Disney callback got YOU all emotional?

I liked the following callbacks better:
1. - To infinity and beyond (to the end of Toy Story 4, is very touching and emotional)
2. - Do you want build a snowman (it made me emotional when i heard it)
3. - Remember me (It's too touching for me and brings tears)
4. - Abre los ojos ( a great line for the beginning and end from Encanto)
5. - Take her to he moon for me
6. - You were my new dream (it's touching and heartbreaking when he says it at that moment)
7. - Ohana means family
8. - Sly rabbit, dumb fox (It's funny how they return it)
And I wish you would have included these too:
Phenomenal cosmic power! Itty-bitty living space. (from Aladdin)
I laugh in the face of danger (from The Lion King, was satisfying and incredible for the moment of danger and struggle that was approaching)
Remember (who are you) (its very and totally emotional, touching and inspiring to the end)
We are one (from The Lion King II, is the lesson of the movie and even repeat it two times: it was even more exciting when Mufasa repeated it to his son from heaven: Well done my son, we are one it was very satisfying and exciting; although Kiara had first reminded it for him of it in the final fight)
The friends are together until the end (from The Lion King 3, is the lesson of the movie and even repeat it two times: first Timon returns it but with a claiming tone in his discussion with Pumba; but later also in his reconciliation with him, it was much better and more touching, and makes me emotional)
It no is flying, it's fall with style ( it was funny and amazing how Buzz returns it at that moment)
I adore you I adore you too, Anna (to the end of Frozen II, also this touched my heart)
If we live, remember me to thank you (from Anastasia 1997)
You're a good boy (from Bolt)
Listen to your inner voice (also in Toy Story 4)

Its a minor one, but I love the callback in Encanto.
When Abuela is having a fight with Mirabel, Abuela says: The cracks started with you. Bruno left because of you. Luisa is losing her powers. Isabelas out of control because of you!
Its a really heartbreaking moment, but when the two are reconciling and we learn Abuelas backstory, Mirabel says: We were saved because of you. We were given a miracle, because of you. We are a family, because of you.
I know Encanto has gotten a lot of love as of late and many people think its overrated but this moment is such a clever and beautiful callback, it just hits different.

I remember watching wreck it Ralph with my mum and my mum never really gets emotional at animated films but she always recalled a book she read as a kid about normally villainous seeming characters who become heroes (one was a spider) so when we watched Wreck-it-Ralph and he recited the mantra at the beginning she and I both got tear eyed. I know these two are related because she talked to me about the book when the film was over.
Kung Fu Panda 2 is the only other animated film I recall that made me weepy, it was during THAT scene from Pos memories

Yeah, sorry, but I don't agree with 1#. I believe Toy Story 3's ending is more deserving of this spot. Facing the enviable fact of Andy growing up; giving his most precious toys away to a child he knows will take good care of them, individually praising them, finally playing with them one last time after being left untouched for years before he goes off to college and finally Woody's So long, Partner as Andy drives off in his car.
To be honest, I'm shocked it didn't even make the Honorable Mentions list!

In Luca, theres the line Piacere girolamo trombetta. First time we hear it is when Luca and Alberto meet each other and second time is when both part ways at the end of the movie. Its even more touching with the way it reflects Albertos development. When Luca asks him what it means the first time, he just feels awkward and switch to something else whereas when he asks him the second time, Alberto admits he doesnt know and asks Luca to find out and tell him.

Oh Lilo and Stitch - such a feel good and poignant film. I remember its message then and now. Don't leave family behind or forgotten. That also includes pets, non-biological relations and general people around your neighborhood's circle. A second favorite - Cross your heart from Up. Memory is such a powerful thing as we get older. Nostalgia, melancholy, regret, love, lost, all the biggies.

I disagree with the scene from Lilo and Stitch.
The one that always makes my eyes water Is when Nani meets Jumba and Pleakley.
When she goes from being careful to ask where Lilo is,
to frustrating in anger, when she describes Lilo is always with Stitch,
to total heartbreak when she realizes that Lilo has been kidnapped and will never come back.
Destroys me every time.

Remember me always hits me so hard, it reminds me of my grandma who died long before I was born and that song always hits me hard, cuz even though she's not physically with me or my dad now, she's always there for me, and whenever I'm sad or just want a good cry I turn to this song, cuz it feels like she's singing it with me, and reminds me of exactly how much I miss and love her.

Ohana is a huge tear jerker for me because my family is native American and some think you have to have a government card to show your native, but for me what it means to be native is to remember who your family is and where you come from and that's what makes you native.
reply

Im sorry, but the Remember Me scene was so good that it is the number one thing that MAKES Coco as good as it is, it deserves number one on this list. I think Wreck it Ralphs speech should be higher too but I understand that its particularly important to me so Im biased
reply

I dont cry a lot to movies but out of the 4 I have 3 are owned by Disney so I guess Disney is pretty emotional. Btw they are guardians of the galaxy vol 2, endgame and onward. Also btw the one not owned by Disney is how to train your dragon 3.
reply

NOOOOOO! There are 2 groups of people-
1. Those who like toy story 4
2. Toy story 3 will always be the true ending
I am full heartedly the second, therefore you should have put the ending of toy story 3 so long, old friend as number 1!

reply

Remember me hits a little different for me. It reminds me a bit of my grandma and how she has a lot of trouble with her memory these days. She can still get around her house, but she forgets some of us from time to time.
reply

Sometimes people do crazy things when theyre in love and you were my new dream. Also, do you want to build a snowman. Im crying right now as Im typing just, just cuz Im thinking about them. Damn it Disney
reply

it should have been Aladdin freeing Genie and Genie saying to Aladdin No matter what anyone say's you'll always be a prince to me. NOT the do you trust me see which is not emotional what so every
reply

Fun fact: There is a rumor that there might be a toy story five.
I don't think this will happen due to Woody being a lost toy, and there doesn't seem to be any point in making a fifth movie.

Hearing Wreck-it Ralph say the I'm bad and that's good speech suddenly got a lot more emotional for some reason. Honesty, I think Wreck-it Ralph deserves a top 10/20 best moments of his own.
reply

My top 5
1. Im bad and that's Good/Remember me -tied
2. To infinity and Beyond
3. Ohana means Family
4. Cross your heart
5. Take her to the moon for me

reply

That Wreck-it-Ralph scene should've been much higher on the list. The emotional clarity, background music, and weight of the self-sacrifice gives me goosebumps every time.
reply

Im bad, and thats good. I will never be good and thats not bad theres no one Id rather be, than me.
Theres a sledgehammer to the feels, and then there was that.

reply

The really cool thing about the Toy Story movies is how Woody and Buzz go from enemies, to grudging teammates, to friends, and then to what can only be called brothers.
reply

Honestly I was waiting for that one scene in the lion king when Mufasa died and Simba begging him to wake up
(Also I practically cried through most of this video)

reply

I'm bad and that's good I will never be good and that's not bad there's no one I rather be than me is the best Pixar Line and it's the one that stuck with me.
reply

I remember A Bug's Life, Wreck-It-Ralph, Toy Story, & Inside Out's scenes. They always made me feel some sort of way, & it's always been a good emotion.
reply

Hate when they be doing that shit she's already saying abre los ojos in Spanish why repeat it again in English why do Spanish American movies do this
reply

Oh my gosh! This whole video gives me goosebumps, but I gotta say Miguel singing Remember Me with Mama Coco really hits me in the feels!
reply

My question on wreck it ralph is why did they use zangief during the bad anon scene why not use a actual villain with m bison like vega
reply

Wall-E after Eve puts him back together and she calls out his name while trying to reignite his spark. gets me every time
reply
