i know this is a list for animated movies, but i feel like Maleficent and Cruella De Vil's live-action counterparts (Angelina and Glenn) should've also been mentioned for their showstopping entrances. Although we get to see Angie's Maleficent long before she crashes the christening, when she does arrive in that all black leather ensemble, she does not hesitate to make an impression with her magnetic performance. As for Cruella, Glenn's version has 2 epic entrances. In the 2nd movie, we first hear her laughing from a prison cell, which then shows her being embraced by Dalmatians galore, which is a heartwarming scene on it's own, but considering it's Cruella, it's even more beautiful. But the real kicker is her glorious entrance in the first movie. From getting out of the sinister-looking vintage car to her simply walking down the hall like she's on a catwalk, all while concealing her face right up to the moment she greets Anita with her signature Anita, Dahling. The music helped amp up her arrival too. Emma Stone's arrival in that red dress should also be mentioned.

Top 3 (In my opinion):

All of these entrances are different and unique, but Maleficent's entrance is spot on and on point, can't get a better villain than that. Cruella De Vill had a song for her entrance thanks to Roger and it was so good. And Shan Yu's entrance was as very intriguing that he went silent for a while and when he spoke, we were in a spooky treat.

As of right now, Death aka The Wolf from Puss In Boots: The Last Wish. Hes a heck of a villain. DreamWorks did start with General Mandible (voiced by Gene Hackman) in Antz in 1998. Now for their 44th film, we have this villain, Death (voiced by Wagner Moura. His whistling is creepy but sensing fear is another thing. Im getting chills

Also, while I don't think it counts as a fully animated movie, the Red Death) from Osmosis Jones had a scary entrance if I remember correctly.
If anything, his whole character was creepy, and not just because he was a deadly sickness.

Yep. Would have been unthinkable to not have Maleficent as #1. Everything about her scared the pants off me as a child. now, of course, she's my go-to villain when it comes to animation. Glad to see Megamind included.
