5: 00 More importantly, Sadness is what teaches us empathy. 'Inside Out' is muh second fave Pixar movie next to 'WALL-E'.
12: 49 Though it's a good movie with an anti-authoritarian/anti-parasitism message to it, 'A Bugs Life' is a complete inversion of reality. IRL, no one messes with ants. Ants mess with everyone else. They tear grasshoppers apart. Even scorpions retreat when ants are on the march. Grasshoppers are a prey species, so they don't typically mess with other lifeforms directly. Also, the fable of the ant and the grasshopper has kind of an anti-artist message to it, depicting the blue-collar workers as inherently noble and the musician as inherently worthless and parasitic. Never mind that most proletarian workers enjoy art and music, and many musicians start out working blue-collar jobs. Maybe I'm overthinking the symbolism.
13: 26 Yeah, toyeeee!
13: 50 Lotso is like a villain straight outta an Ayn Rand novel.
14: 00 'The Brave Little Toaster' did it first. But it was made under the Hyperion label. What kinds of movies did the other Borderlands weapon manufacturers make?

I loved Up and Monsters Inc, and thoroughly enjoyed Toy Story 1-3, Cars 2 and the Incredibles. A Bugs Life was decent and I liked Ratatouille. The first Cars was. ok and the third one (along with Toy Story 4) was kinda meh. I also liked Luca. Didn't like Turning Red though, and Soul is at a low enough spot to offend its enjoyers. Also Lightyear was a disappointment. Finding Nemo was the first ever Pixar movie I watched and I loved it (still do) and the sequel is pretty good too. Monsters University didn't have the Sulley I know and love, and it was overall kinda bland, despite all the events that happen.
Those are my thoughts on the Pixar movies I've seen (yeah, I haven't seen Wall-E in forever, but I'm most likely gonna be seeing it sometime soon. I also don't have much of an interest in Brave)

The idea that you would put Monster's Inc, which admittedly is funny and heartwarming, above unforgettable masterpieces like Up, Inside Out, and Coco, is just lame. Those three were flawless and absolutely original in every component from the visuals to the script to the voicing. Monster's Inc. is hilarious and touching, but it's been done before. And the dad in Finding Nemo is whiny and annoying.

WallE was so awesome.
Coco can make you cry so easily.
Ratatouille, just brilliant.
Up, easily the best n saddest beginning but so beautiful.
Toy Story 3, showed the end of our childhoods so so well.
Finding Nemo, perfectly shows how much father's love n get over protective after losing his other kids n wife.

reply

I'm sorry. The only down side to Toy Story 3 is. I hate to cry that loudly! Thank God it was in 3-D, so I could hide behind the glasses. I was a wreck! Them holding hands while they went to certain death? Or Andy giving all his toys away to that little girl. Water-works galore!

A Bug's Life is my absolute favorite Disney/Pixar movie.
The cast is great but the message is important.
Never give up, no matter what.
Don't be in a rush to grow up, embrace the journey.
Stand up for yourself.
Be true to yourself.

13: 18 up to 14: 35 But Toy Story 4 is now 4 years old and Frozen 2 as well, but Im not watching Toy Story 4 now I just hated it. I liked Frozen 2 more so I watch Frozen 2 more and not Toy Story 4. Thats fine by me.

reply

OK. I've only watched #10 and #9. WALL-E is #9! Have you been retard sandwiches again. WALL-E is a movie that (and UP, BTW) spends half the runtime with NO dialog! How is that possible? Oh yeah, it's JUST THAT GODD!
reply

I like finding Nemo because I like everything of the seens of the movie and Especially the sharks has the most interesting things that they do to prevent dory and marlin to avoid one of the sharks attack and find Nemo
reply

We all know about the legacy of Toy Story, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Up, Monsters Inc. & Cars. But Inside Out will always remain that Pixar movie that made me cry. It's underrated and a masterpiece!
reply

I really disagree with the ranking! Wall-E, Coco and Ratatouille should have been the first three and (in my unpopular opinion) Red, Up and the abysmal Inside Out don't deserve ranking at all.
reply

YOU. ARE. A. TOY!
That is one of Ton Hanks' best lines as a VA. And Buzz's response You are a sad, strange little man. got reused in the Santa Clause 2, which also starred Tim Allen.

The top Pixar Movies That Are Timeless that I recognize and enjoy watching are Inside Out, Up, The Incredibles, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo, Brave, Cars and the Toy Story franchise

Turning Red: if you were a girl in the early 00s? This movie came out less than a year ago All for representation but it needs to be out more than a year to be timeless, imho?
reply

Some of these movies are not only timeless, but they're extremely difficult to replicate as these are some of the most unique stories and pieces of art ever made.
reply

I love Toy story but I am so surprised WALL E is not higher up on this list. To a naturalist and environmentalist like myself that carries the heaviest message.
reply

Pixar really knows how to produce these films. When cars came out I continuously talked about it a lot. It was infact a wonderful film when it was released.
reply

Can you guys imagine after Cars, Disney no longer has the rights to Pixar? Do you think that Pixar's films would've been different without Disney?
reply

Toy Story and Finding Nemo will always be the best pixar movies to me. I'm 22 and autistic and I still enjoy watching Pixar movies whenever I can.
reply

Turning red is complete garbage! The rest of the list is pretty great! Just switch Soul with Turning Red and the list would be really good.

reply

In what world is Ratatouille ranked higher than WALL-E, Inside Out, or UP! Good list, but I feel Ratatouille was placed too high on it.
reply

Whatever you think about Disney, you cant deny that Pixar has some absolute classics for all generations.
reply

Finding Nemo is my favorite I actually watched it when it came out in theaters as a kid. Actually saw it twice
