Melanie Zanetti really was the perfect choice to voice Chilli. She has the gentle, nurturing, motherly tone that still maintains the love in the voice even when Chilli is firm or feels cross, which is very important since children sometimes worry if their parents dont love them anymore if they get cross with them, while Chillis tone demonstrates that yes, your parents still love you (as long as they are loving parents) even when they are telling you off when you have done something that justifies being scolded.

What I especially love about Chili teaching Bingo to use her big girl bark is that she doesnt get angry at Bandit or yell at him at all for hurting their precious little angel. Unlike a lot of other mothers in this kind of situation, she knows fully well that her husband would never EVER do anything to knowingly cause their children pain; he simply has a hard time adjusting his play intensity between the Bluey and Bingo. This something that happens to pretty much every father with multiple children of different ages.

As a dad, what I like about Bluey as a series is that it also shows how Chili and Bandit show how many modern couples try to split the parenting as equally as possible. Too often are the dads depicted in books and TV as incompetent, indifferent or out of touch with their kids. The series reflects the great parenting many modern couples practice every day, while also being a role model for parents to aspire to.
I just wish there was also a companion video about Bandit being a great dad.

Mum School is an episode nobody really ever talks about and nobody would call it sad/emotional people usually just watch it and forget about it but that episode made me cry since Bluey hits her inflatable children every time they do do what she wants or doesnt do it correctly and when I was younger I was just like those inflatable children, unable to do anything correctly, and gets hit for it

Chilli was also a great mom in Sleepytime. When Bingo told Chilli that she wanted to try sleeping in her own bed, Chilli told her You do your best, kiddo. But remember, I'll always be here if you need me. And later on when Chilli hears Bingo crying in her sleep, she goes to hug Bingo until she feels better. I love that episode so much!

When Chili comforts Bluey about Jean-Luc that resonated with me. It was such a beautiful and simple way to explain the situation. I also love how even though she reminded Bandit & the kids to bring the pool stuff, she didn't show up mad or upset. She just came with the solution and joined in on the pool fun. Top tier mom

I know this is about Chili. Baby race made wife and I choke up. But bandit trying to figure out that baby carrier in the background was so relatable. Feels like all the nonsense I put together and set up for the family was background nonsense my wife probably laughed at.

To me the episode were bingo wants to help make an omelette is relatable because on day I wanted to make eggs of my own and after a lot of trial and error I finally am able to make eggs and learned how to cook on a stove
