Seriously, Beastly is amazing.
The Whole Point of Beastly, IS to be a wholly different telling of this Tale as Old as Time.
If you intend on bashing completely different versions, which shows your inability to adapt and or accept a different Tale. Then I recommend you only watch the old school Disney version.
The beauty of Fairy Tales, IS that we get to adapt them to our day and time, or leave them be.
However, some people cant accept a modern retelling of our beloved Fantasies; which, inhibits ones ability to appreciate the work, and imagination that is needed to even Think of a Newer Retelling.
I highly suggest you read all of the other books that this woman writes.

Beastly I thought was considerably good. It was just a different take on Beauty & the Beast that I didnt mind. I didnt like the reboot series they made, based off the original-- Blue Lagoon I grew up with as a kid and that to me is a cult classic. I was a adult when found out she wasnt old enough to technically play that part, Being cousins yes its not looked good apon, but also have to think about being stuck on a Island as a child in the time period its based on, which back then it wasnt uncommon for cousins etc. The rest I agree with as far as not that great. Im a big movie buff and generally dont nit-pick movies unless its super bad.

The rest I've never heard of til now, and wouldn't really have any interest in watching, but Mean Girls 2 is one of my favorite movies. I didn't think of it as a sequel, but a next-gen kinda movie. Maybe it actually followed the Junior Plastics at the end of the original Mean Girls when they got older more so. They looked kinda similar to Mandi, Hope, and Chastity.

Pff when they started with Blue Lagoon i wasnt sure this list would be any good. But then when they mentioned Dude Wheres My Car? Oh man, instantly made this list worthless. Clearly they missed the entire point of that movie, went right over their heads. They should change the name of this video to teen movies you might want to rewatch.

The Covenant isn't bad. It's way too fun to be ranked on this list! I remember my friends and I enjoying it when it came out. None of us thought it was anything groundbreaking, but it had fun with the concept.
There TONS of way worse teen movies out there to pick from! I'm shocked 16 Candles wasn't on this list!

I once saw an interview with Hal Sparks, who was in Dude, Where's My Car, where he just laughed at people calling it a bad movie. He essentially said, Of course it's a bad movie! It's called Dude, Where's My Car! You think I signed up for a movie with that title thinking it was going to win an Oscar?

I'm in complete agreement with one exception. Beastly was a fun guilty pleasure despite a plot that was as thin as toilet paper and an obvious ending. But the dad getting his own punishment at the end and the modern retelling of Beauty and the Beast makes it just not bad enough for me to like it.

The convent is not a bad movie. The only error is instead of them being in high school, it should be college students. Plus I dont see it as a teen movie, more of a young adult. Same with the movie twelve. Just because they have teen characters doesnt mean its meant for teens.

I did not know there was a sequel to mean girls or cruel intentions and how I see why! Just terrible. Brooke Shields used a body double in endless love not in the blue logoon unfortunately. AND BTW white chicks was a great movie where men dressed as women sorry not sorry!

I haven't watched Mean Girls 2 in years, but I actually used to like it. It just doesn't work as a sequel for Mean Girls. I feel like it would've gotten a lot less hate if they had just called it something else and treated it as its own thing.

I actually really enjoyed Mean Girls 2. I get that its not as innovative and witty as the original, but I thought the acting and character development was very real and absorbing. Particularly Meaghan Martins.

While The Covenant is pretty bad and Sebastian, Taylor, Chase and company deserved much better, Mean Girls 2 was much worse and an unnecessary insult to the OG Mean Girls.
