As much as I love Joe Mantegna as an actor (ever since Godfather 3, the best cast of CM for me will ever be: Patinkin, Gibson, Gray-Gubbler, Brewster, Moore, Cook, Vangsness. Speaking of which, if anyone ever dares to create TV series by best SF work ever written - Dan Simmons' Hyperion Cantos - at least for the first two books may the cast be: Gary Sinise as Consul, Mandy Patinkin as Saul Weintraub, Thomas Gibson as Leigh Hunt, Paget Brewster as Meina Gladstone, Kirsten Vangsness as Freeman Ghenga, Anthony Azizi as Fedhman Kassad, Daniel Henney as both Het Masteen / Sek Hardeen, and of course, Joe Mantegna as father Paul Dure. Matthew Gary-Gubller would be ideal as A. Bettik, in both books, with some makeup applied.

8: 59 the fact that they joke about Mandy leaving the show because it was destroyed his soul and personality and he shouldve read the pilot closer is kind of gross to me and makes me lose a lot of respect for them. Being a part of something that dark can really affect someone Kenta and emotionally after a time. Look at Evan Peters needing a break from AHS after portraying some of the characters he has. Some people just have more of a tolerance for it than others. Mandy was doing what was best for him mentally and emotionally by removing himself from the show, and rather than making fun of him, they should respect that, and respect that he opened the door for Joe Mantegna to even join the Criminal Minds universe.

the whole firing aj and paget thing was so messed up but also I didn't like how jj became a profiler, like her role as a media liaison was iconic and I just didn't understand the reasoning for it. I liked gideon and completely understood why mandy left; that clip of aj and joe laughing at his reasoning is so gross like sorry not everyone can stomach these gruel stories! Also regarding thomas gibson, i read somewhere that he was defending some cast members/staff who were being harassed by virgil (not that im saying that what he did was right; he obviously should've handled it better especially due to his previous altercations. this was a great video nonetheless!

I guess I'm one of the very few who actually liked Jennifer Love Hewit's character on Criminal Minds and was sad when she left. It was that Blonde chick I really didn't care for, the one where her father was a serial killer, she, in my opinion, was just too soft for this show. She was definitely NO J. J! I really missed Hotch! I literally cried when he was fired from the show. I was also sad that Gideon left, but, Rossie was a perfect replacement and I could understand why Mandy Patinkin left, Criminal Minds was a bit gruesome for him.

I love criminal minds and all the cast. I miss mogan and reid. But on new season two of criminal minds people came back right at the end to help but didn't see who it was have to wait i think for new season. Maybe its mogan amd Reid. And im hoping new season next year Penelope and Luke get together as a couple. I love them together and hope she realises hes the one for her not the tyler guy who was a criminal i think if i remember. Luke and Penelope all the way to be a couple.

10) I didn't like Jenifer either. I like her, just not here. 9) Never heard of it. 8) That was just disgusting and wrong! 7) Didn't hear that. 6) Pay to play? Yikes! 5) Somebody thought he was too important (allegedly! 4) WHAT? I watched it for JJ! 3)Loved Pruitt too. 2) Mandy leaving was shocking but he usually left shows early so sad but oh well. 1) Hotch, well the person playing Hotch was in the news and not looking good! His exit was definitely expected!

Ya know I always wondered why every season there was another new lady actress and while I didn't put a lot of thought into it, it did make it difficult to get to know new characters and really bond with them. But new women? AJ Cook & Paget Brewster are stunning and both climbed to the top of some of my favorite characters in tv shows! So, shame on those higher ups, and I'm glad the fans were able to bring them back

LOL he kicked a person lol, am sorry that just funny to me lol.
I never hated anyone that was on the show I liked everyone and I just thought it was silly that people moan about it when people got taken out, shows can't stay the same forever, and we can't always have the same people, yes it's sad to see them leave but we get to meet new people which is fun and get to see who they are and how they grow,

Criminal minds stopped feeling like Criminal minds when Hotch left. He was the glue that kept the show together and even though the show was slowly declining before he left, his absence highlight the downslide the show was on.
Its even worse when its been revealed that the firing was murky and the writer he kicked wasnt known for being a good guy.

I have always hated what they did to Paget Brewster and AJ Cook. And I don't blame Paget Brewster for leaving after they screwed with her and fired her and then pressured her to come back for season 7 like nothing happened. She's my favorite so I hated it but was happy that she knew her self-worth and walked. super happy she came back later!

I never had a problem with Jennifer Love Hewitts character. I was one of the petitioners when AJ, left. I feel bad for Rachel Nichols she was thrown into all this because of cheap producers who didn't want to pay the women on the show. There wasn't anyone I didn't like on the show.

Hotch, Rossi, Morgan, Prentiss, Reid, JJ, and Garcia are the reason why Criminal Minds was/is so popular. It will never be the same without them. Even though I have nothing against all the new/other characters like Lewis, Alvez, etc. but they are just not as good as the others.

I love this show but had to give it up like a favorite snack while dieting. It started working into my dreams and worse while pregnant. The final incident was me being recruited to track down a bomber that killed a few ppl. But was actually my dad. Nope nope nope! Lol
reply

There wasnt a single main cast member of the original Criminal Minds that I didnt like, a couple that I didnt love but I liked them all.
I loved Mandy Patinkin. How they originally ended his character was great only to ruin it in a later season.

reply

Jennifer Love Hewitt wasn't terrible. but the way she was pushed into the show was. meh. had they added her more organically.
And beyond borders or whatever it was. meh. cool cast. but the cast was great. but damn the writing was awful.

My Mom and I would watch this show. She's 92 and would get a kick out of Garcia and Morgan. I liked all of the characters except for JLH and the blonde replacement for JJ. They didn't mesh well and at times seemed awkward
reply

It's sad that the man who played Gideon, felt that he needed to leave the series. To me I thought he was really good character. But, I guess in like some serieses they change actors and actresses in for various reasons.
reply

When the blonde serial killer daughter came on to replace JJ, my whole family, (who watched religiously) never even bothered with her name. We just called her Not JJ. That was her name to us.
reply

I heard that the whole reason behind thomas kicking the writer was being he was being gross to AJ and the other women on set. Not sure if it was true bjt if it is, we want thomas back: (
reply

Paget mentioned once that the only reason emily came back in s7 was that she was threatened with lawsuit and had to wait till her contract was up to leave, that's why emily left after s7
reply

Maybe i'm in the minority but I'm shocked to here fans Liked Alex Blake, she had zero personality and sucked the life out of every scene, I liked JLH Character was sad when she left
reply

I genuikeley loved Jennifer Love Hewitt on the show. I loved them all. And her season is my favorite season. The story throughout the whole season was great in my opinion.
reply

Not me saying they shouldn't have fired Thomas Gibson for what he did, but the show didn't feel the same after Hotch's departure. It just proved the character's strengths.
reply

What the he11 did ignorant Mandy Patenkin think a show about serial killers and the people who catch them going to be about! Oh well the show was better without him!
reply

Wow I have never heard of these controversies with the real-life criminals. That's crazy life imitating art with shemar Moore costar being A thieving piece of garbage
reply

I never understood why famous people cannot be in online relationships, exchange pictures and etc. As if they arent human. Whats the big deal, most people I know do that.
reply

I actually really liked Jennifer Love Hewitt, especially since the theme around Season 8 seemed to circle around child trafficking and similar issues.
reply

I honestly never blamed Mandy. I know they poke fun at him but it's one thing to read dark content and another thing to have to act it out day after day.
reply

I'm still so annoyed that Thomas Gibson managed to essentially write such a good character character out of the show through his own behaviour.
reply

I was not a fan of Seaver. Glad JJ and Emily came back but I never realized that they were fired in the first place so thats pretty upsetting.
