Only 90s kids will understand. For this list, well be looking at the things from the 1990s that those who grew up during the decade either remember or fully comprehend. Our countdown includes Moon Shoes, how much a slap bracelet can hurt, raising Tamagotchis, and more! If theres a distinctly 90s thing YOU'RE distinctly upset we forgot, remind us in the comments!

The 90s were a better, simpler time. It wasn't modern like today but not old vintage either. There were no smartphones, social media, or wokism. Slow dial up internet was still a thing with Encarta, AOL, and Clarisworks on computers then and you couldn't use the land line phone while online. Cars did have electronics but it wasn't everything controlled by computer like newer ones, older ones from the 70s and 80s had less and were more prone to problems. Many stores then are defunct today like Montgomery Ward, Weinstocks, Gottchalks, Ritz camera, Best, CompUSA, Circuit City, Mervyn's, Toys R Us, and Blockbuster to name some. Macy's and Nordstrom are still around today. Kmart used to have a cafeteria. Sears still looked the same as it did in the 90s before it closed. The Gameboy Color was a big deal in gaming and most TVs were still VHS that had to be rewinded. There were DVDs but most were these huge record sized discs. Terminator 2 was awesome. NSync, Beach Boys, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears were the popular bands of the day. The Jonbenet Ramsey case shocked the nation.

I hate that you 90 kids automatically hate anything that's not from the 90s without even looking at it, and automatically love anything that is from the 90s no matter how dated and cringey it may be. Keep in mind there was no breaking bad, avatar the Last airbender, minecraft, or The legend of Zelda tears of the kingdom in the 90s. You're being more Boomer than the Boomers.

Awesome video! Although my top 5 favorite years of my life took place in the following 2 decades, I'll always miss the 90's, my childhood years. I was born in 1989. What I'll miss most about the 90's were the entertaining TV shows, mostly the cartoons, but also a few some live-action shows. Oh and definitely some of the entertaining commercials back then too.

Born in 92 and I can tell kids today so many stories about the 90s. Especially about beanie baby mania. I remember hearing about parents fighting in toy stores like in jingle all the way to get them for their kids. So many bite marks, black eyes and missing hair. Another thing I remember is Sargent soaker. Super power. Super speed. Super soakers all you need.

Born in 1993 and have a Good memory of the last 3 years of the 90s (and a very vague memory of some events in the mid 90s. I experienced childhood in both 90s and early 00s before becoming a teenager in the Mid 00s. So Im basically hybrid, not one or the other but both.

as a kid who grew up in the 90's, I never understood the capri sun problem. just push the straw thru the area that was basically aluminum foil. didn't learn this was an issue until i was in my 20s and suddenly came to notice - oh people are dumb''

Best part of the 90's? Going out as a teenager in my friends car knowing no one could call or text me and stop my fun until i get home. Aw hot boxing the car and loitering in the taco bell parking lot trying to get a number. That takes me back

90s kids are the last generation. that grew up in the actual world without the internet. Road Rash game, cassette video games, floppy disks, watching cartoons all day on Cartoon Network and Disney. ahhh 90s were magical.

90s fashion is currently running its course and it wont be too many more years till 00s style is back in full. While in the 2000s the 70s were popular.
