Wow! I agree with the actor on all but one of these. Some more passionately than others. But #1 Jessica alba - HELL NO! These are people! Come on risking someone's life fir a movie? How shallow and materialistic can you get! It's even worse considering they could do the same thing with a special effect. So now your just risking their life for nothing! And I know there are those who would argue that there was no danger- the true gentleness of these predators but reality is even with the most misunderstood animals - the very least likely to attack - these animals can't be trained in the sense that people mean. Only someone tryely skilled in that specific species and familiar with the individual has any business around them. And i say this as someone who grew up around misunderstood exotics. It's not good for the animals to risk this- look at what people did to gentle sting-rays after Steve Irwin's death! As though he would want that done in his name! So good for Alba for bringing a little reality check and a sliver if sanity!
And the vp of airforce one crying? No one would even have questioned that if it was a male vp. That would have been ludicrously untrue to the film. I agree there's nothing wrong with crying - at the end of appolo 13 when the man in charge sits for a moment and has a few tears he had not alliwed himself before, now that the crisis was passed and the pressure released was believable and appropriate to the SITUATION but here, the only reason it would be appropriate is because of her being a woman.
The only one I disagree with is jason- most of these examples had to do with personal dignity or safety or it being untrue to the character or storyline. Don't get me wrong I do NOT want to see someone hurting an animal even in acting but it'd hardly untrue to a horrible film when most serial killer start off abusing animals.
