We're counting down our picks for the most impactful, culturally resonant, and/or nostalgic music videos released between 2000 and 2009. Our countdown includes Poker Face, Stacys Mom, Umbrella, and more! Did we forget one of YOUR favorites? The Stacy's Mom video was so iconic, that I think that I played it on a loop back in the day, and I was too young to understand the Fast Times parody!

Not a bad list. Looking back at a lot of these music videos, takes me back to my late teens and early 20's. Major Nostalgic trip! Music videos in the 2000's were something else! What a time to be alive. Sometimes I wish I can go back to those times.
Nothing against Panic at the Disco, love their stuff but The Killers and Fall Out Boy Music Videos were more childhood defying. Great stuff, just saying that their music videos were better suited for this list. I can think of a lot more but it's fine. No biggie!

Im feeling so nostalgic looking at all of these. The 2000s were the best days to be a kid. The music we had still gave us those 90s vibes and artists didnt rely on AI or computer assistance to record their lyrics. They actually sang their songs and thats why it was so good. I would give anything to go back to those simpler days.

You can't put Single Ladies at the top without even mentioning the choreography is a rip off from - excuse me 'inspired by' - Bob Fosse's 'Mexican Breakfast' routine. I'm not saying it's not iconic but I swear 99% of people think Beyonce came up with this on her own

I still say Aaiiyah Try Again from Romeo Must Die. Also We Need A Resoloution Rock The Boat and More Than A Woman from her third and final self titled album. Also Eminem Stan with Dido from the Marshall Marhers LP and Lose Yourself from the 8 Mile Soundtrack

Eminem - WIthout Me was a major iconic video for my 00s, and Beyonce - Crazy In Love!
I guess this might be too British but Girls Aloud had a few iconic videos too.

Did we forget one of your favorites? YES! ANY boy band, surprised more so that NOT ONE boy band made the list. HOWEVER, the music on this list DID take me back to my youth.

reply

Honorable mention for the bring me to life video, not only because it's visually gorgeous and totally iconic, but also because it was filmed in the city I'm from

What about OK Go's Here It Goes Again? You know, the treadmill video. I remember that video going viral in the mid 2000's. Everyone saw it and many tried to reenact

I was born in the early 90's, so I'm more into the 90s stuff, but I was also a kid in this era, so I can see the love of the 2000s because I felt it
