I adore Bill Murray and love Lost in Translation, a beautiful film about surprising deep friendships that happen. That deliberately silent whisper at the end makes me weep every time. She barely resists crying and the way he walks away backwards to continue looking at her with that smile on hid face gets me every time

People are always surprised when comedians turn out great performances in drama. Most don't realize how hard Comedy is. I think it speaks more to how much more highly regarded drama is in virtually every aspect of entertainment.

I think Cecily Strong would be fabulous in a dramatic role. I always found her characters on SNL to have an inherent gravitas that a lot of other cast members rarely brought to their work.

If Adam Sandler can make me forget he's Adam Sandler for two hours straight, he deserves an Academy Award. Sandler was completely robbed of an Oscar award/nomination for Uncut Gems.

I really love how multidimensional these actors are. Yes, they are hilarious but some of these dramatic roles prove how really talented these actors are. Bravo!

I love Stranger Than Fiction. also this list shows that Sandler can do really good movies if he doesn't write them, or have every much say in them.

Dan Ackroyd has done his fair share of dramatic roles; John Belushi did his most dramatic work in Continental Divide.

Rumor has it. Eddie Murphy was a show in for the Oscar that year. Then Norbit came out a month before the scads awards.

Adam Sandler should give on comedy and focus on drama for the rest of his career
It's where he really shines
